Ok, well, I was thinking that we need a serious topic (Or a discussion n_n) , to see what you think and how far you're intelligence goes (not that it matters in anycase) Umm. that's it. I'll be thinking of more general topics that are profound and needs thinking before answering. If you have a problem with one of my topics please tell me and Ill glady change it. Ideas are welcomed. (or you can just create your own topic U_U wink that is all.
Mike, The One and Only Simpleton.
I'm talking about Documentaries such as Fareheneit 9/11 and September Videos.
Should we allow those kinds of "Movies" be in Theatres?
My Opinions shall be posted after someone posts theirs.

But if you think about it, it isn't really up to us to decide. If they put one movie into theaters, and it racks in a whole bunch of money, then they're going to put in other movies having to do with the same topic. But if that first movie doesn't get almost any viewers, then they're probably not going to show the other movies in theaters.
But if we were to have a say, I'd say no, just put those movies out on DVD. I think most of the US doesn't want to have to watch and remember 9/11. It isn't really nice to make a movie out of dead people. sweatdrop Although I know that isn't exactly what they're all like... but still. I wouldn't want to lose a loved one, and then go to watch a movie and see a movie about my loved one. If you want to watch, you can just go rent and/or buy it on VHS or DVD.
But that's just me. whee

I fall back on freedom of speech. If we start censoring types of movies then we become less free. Now rating them is different than completely stopping them. I do believe in rating appropriately so that young ones don't see stuff they are just not up to.

O_o if you put it that way, I just hope that they put it up so we aren't clueless in what happens and so we don't become mindless people that believe anything a person with a greater authority says.
I guess, I think they should put a serious rating, like let's say rated: Nc-17 or at "R" I don't know. Some people prefer just to live in their own life and not care about anything and wish to have a peaceful life. Of course, now that I think about it, if they want a peaceful life, they just shouldn't go see these movies.
I just don't like, when the movie is partially fiction. Like Fareheneit 9/11, I read in Time maganzine that Michael Moore's movie is partly false. I guess they should show certain documentaries.
But that's just me. whee
