My mom is a teacher at my school. I get pretty good grades, and I turn in papers almost always on time. But now she wants me to get EVERYTHING in ALL the time. That's impossible, and she knows it, the b***h. And, I have ADHD, so that makes it really hard to get EVEYTHING in. She threatened to ban me from computer until I pass to the next grade if I don't get EVERYTHING in. Because apparently there is 'no reason I should be missing ANYTHING'. I'm not some kind of super-genius child. I can't handle that!
My dad expects the same. I'm slowly burning up inside, and they don't give a crap! It's always 'Just because your the child of a teacher doesn't mean you have any priviledges to miss asssignments'. Middle school is a stressful time, and she expects me to be perfect!

"Okay, I'm the older child in a two-kid family. My brother was screaming, thowing things, and not listening to the person in the doctor's office, and I was asking him to stop. Mom immediatly starts yelling at me when we get out, then bans me from computer, game boy, and Xbox. The thing is, if I don't ask him to stop, he won't stop, and when I do, Mom yells at me for being bossy. This all happened a day ago, and she still yells at me. What is with her?

You need to tell her how you feel. You should turn in all of work, but there should be atleast one or two exeptions with good reasons. All parents expect this, don't worry.

hmmmmmmm.... the "parent thinks there kid should do perfect in school situation" im traped in that too as we speak. my mom is mad at me for the same stuff and i got A.D.D so i know what your talking about yeah thats hard to beat truthfuly i would just sit down your parent down and talk to them or ake nervous break down! with enouf practice anyone can pretend to faint and fall to the ground! (im sieries iv been practicing) if you parent see that and you tell them you were stressed out over school work and stuff they might lihgten up! but i havnt tried it yet so if u do tell me how it turns out

It is pretty stressful, but if you're complaining now, you're going to die in high-school. sweatdrop
At any rate, all I can say for you is to try harder. Yeah, there's alot of homework, and you WILL have to do all of it at home (not just at school). But, even with homework in every class, every night, you should be able to get all of it done. If you're having so much trouble, however, contact your counsiler; she can help you arrange your time so you can get all your work done and stuff. :3 <3
