As most of you know, in Avatar there are several episodes/events/people/anything else that represent an element (or something similar to one) in the show. Example:
Yue and Sokka's relationship symbolizes the way the moon pushes and pulls the water. Princess Yue kept acting like she wanted to be with Sokka, but then pushed him away. Princess Yue represents the moon and Sokka represents water.
So you can post all your connections and stuff here, it's fun to read them. blaugh

Well. The Fire Nation destroying everything in it's path is kinda symbolic of fire. sweatdrop
Toph's and Aang's personalitys are just like their elements. Aang's carefree, funloving, and free, while Toph is determined, strong, and stubborn.

Water - winter Earth - spring Fire - summer
We can assume that Aang learned his airbending in the fall.
Azula's name come's from the Spanish word azule (sp?), which means blue, which was probably chosen because she is one of the only characters in ATLA that can bend lightning/blue fire.

Aang and Katara's romance (I'm sorry Zutara fans, but I really can't find any connections for the pairing):
In the next life Aang lives, he will be a waterbender, and yet he is drawn to Katara...
