astral fire
Is a green liquid flame
Ever burning
Ever turning
Like circular drops of rain
In the vacuum of material domain
In spiritual space
All fire is supposed to be the same
Covering cross surface breaks
Consuming all in name
Yet in your heart I’ve found
The key to cool them tame
Spreading across my flesh
To light in darkness
My soul insane
The calling of your name
Is the echo in my lucid dreams
The sound of silence lit aflame
Forging seams
To piece me from broken lame
Happy birthday
From the not so distant future
My effervescent flame
I am calling back to you
Can you hear your name?
The crashing of waves
My breath whistling through the trees
The crackling of purple fire on your surreal plane
It’s all the same
It’s all the same
For amidst endless distance
There is hope for eternal
Lay down the chain
Walk through horizons
For I promise nothing plain
I promise you’ll remember my name
When we touch again
For eternity is not a game
Nor a promise left slain

Very pretty! Quite mystical and enchanting. I love the way you have of evolving your stanzas so that by the end there is a positive beauty and a real sense of promise.

It's like playing a guitar, some people have the vision, and tallent, to do more the others, but all get betetr with repitition, until hitting, say, the e minor becomes second nature.
