When I was at the yearly Mackinaw Bridge Walk in honor of Labor Day, Michigan's Govenor Granholm came to the special event to jog with us. Before she started she said some pretty words to influence her relection, and them at the very end of her speach, breifly, bluntly, randomly said, "Global Warming is becoming a problem. Your repuplicans are ready to face it."
I was like, what the hell?! NOW YOU'RE READY?! And what did she mean FACE IT?! We can't just face it, we need to change things and slow them down. And that was all she said.
Meanwhile, democratic envoys were passing out flyers and brochures talking about global warming and asking people if they wanted to sign up to see what more they could do to help.
3nodding I signed up in a heartbeat. Maybe something good will come of it. But what's for sure, is the campaining for any elections this year, or the next, will be using Global Warming to back up their side.
But WHEN will our country finally react? (Or any other country for the matter)

People like to ignore things that aren't in their little bubble...what they can't realize is that pretty soon that little bubble will be filled with boiling water or something...*sighs*

I don't have a pretty face, and yah I may be a little wild when I'm with my titly knit trio but as long as it's natural and feels right on my face, I don't hold back, not one single cell!
