When did you first become aware of global warming?
I think I began to get worried once I started getting interested in my governement, country, and certain politics. After 9/11. I was surfin the web, and I found these statistics about temperature change, and after a few more hours...it started to dawn on me...

Around 2 years ago I started to become more aware of what was going on.
Mostly it was because my mom was starting to save more money on electricity.
Then the internet spread the word to me..and yeaa.

Probably when the movie The Day After Tommorow came out was when i really opened my eyes to it. Since then I've tried to watch as many TV specials about global warming as I could ( for example, humans are most likely to die by our own hand of global warming than any other global disaster). When An Inconvienent Truth came out I was there that day to see it.

When An Inconvienent Truth came out I was there that day to see it. Isaw the day after Tomorrow, and I thought it did a really good job brining things into focus, or at least that it was a start. Hopefully when an inconvienant truth comes out, more eyes will be watching. Though I got this flyer about global warming, and it said 2/3 of the United States are aware of global warming. But are they doing anything about it...?

Americans are lazy and ignorant, its a well known fact.It's true, and it makes me so sad...but all the more furious! stressed What happened to the country that once believed "we stand together." I understand the magnitude of differences, but why can't people find a way to come together to face a problem that would easily be prevented if we would just ACT!!!

Banothen We learn about it at school at about...12 years old. I wish I could say the same. The closest Michigan has been to teaching my school or any near bye towns about global warming was learning geographic features and learning about "the greenhouse" effect and how CFCs destroy our atmosphere and how Co2 levels are too high. Other than that, students are left unaware.
