If you have any questions about the Pearlaice culture, don't hesitate to post them here or PM Pearlaice! We'll get back to you as soon as possible and we'll post all Q&A in this thread.
Unfortunately, the events happened here will have to be erased from all of the Pearlaice memory. The old Pearlaice will still have the same friends and gone through the same major events, but these will have happened in the underwater realm of Atlantis. The Pearlaice Kingdom!
Because the Pearlaice are now true underwater creatuers, you will no longer be able to RP your owner as well.
Before you post in a thread, take a look in the description in the first post to see if you are allowed to.
Take a moment to read the front page of the main thread carefully as all the info here is simply a repeat. ^^

General Rules
1. Do not steal any of the lineart/pets on this thread or the concept.
2. Do not alter any pictures, unless given permission.
3. Don't bother us, if you want to ask us an urgent question, PM Pearlaice.
4. Don't get angry at us if your Pearlaice isn't growing quick enough. The more you whine, the slower it grows.
5. Be kind and polite and don't argue.
Roleplay Rules
1. Don't godmode (EG. You character can do everything superperfect, during battle he never gets hit and immediatly kills). This is annoying and will result in a greylisting.
2. Don't rp the character of someone else unless you've got their permission.
3. Don't kill the character of someone else.
Just use your common sense. I know it's hard for some people, but try to do it. Kay?

Q: Another Pearlaice owner has a certificate that is a different color than mine. Does that make it more special?
A: Depending on the main color of your Pearlaice determines what color certificate I give you. They're all the same otherwise.
Q: It's been a long time since I have seen my Pearlaice advance to the next stage of growth. How come?

Culture of the Pearlaice
The culture of the Pearlaice is rather simple. Most Pearlaice are very easy to please. Food they eat include; fish, shark meat, fish eggs, and whatever their guardian might bring for them from their own lands.
The Pearlaice are mostly peaceful creatures. Some fights to break out, but nothing too major. Once Pearlaice find their mates, they are for life.
For houses, they mostly stay in shells at the bottom of the water, where they sleep and such. The shells might be the ones they were born in, or just a random one they found that they claim for themselves. These shells are all centered around the palace, which is a pretty big and impressive building where the King and Queen live. It is open for all to visit and sleep, though.
They have no religon. They have no god.
The usually don't wear any type of clothing. Jewelry sometimes, but it is rather rare.

Pearlaice Powers
There are several kinds of powers a Pearlaice can have. These range from the simple elemental magic, to the power of telekinesis or telepathy. The powers of the Pearlaice, lay deep within them and can only be unlocked if they manage to evolve into their final god or goddess form. Usually the powers are refined but sometimes there are exceptions. Not all of the powers will be useful under the water.
Only after a long and hard quest filled with hardships will they earn their reward.

Familiars
These are the companions of a Pearlaice, they will protect them from danger, although often not a match for it, they will give anything they have to save their charge.

Water Fairies
The water fairies are tiny creatures that can be seen fluttering all through the Pearlaice Kingdom. They titter and chat a lot and are very happy and mischievious creature. Often Pearlaice children can be seen befriending one. These are usually friendships for life, as the fairies are very loyal towards their 'charges'. They start to see the Pearlaice as friends or protegees.
The usual size of an adult fairy is roughly the size of an adult Pearlaice head, while the children are about half the size of the adult fairies.
Powers
The water fairies possess certain powers, unlike the regular Pearlaice. They have their own brand of magic, which constitutes of
- minor healing ; they can heal minor injuries a Pearlaice may sustain when out in the open and will be able to keep one alive until a medi arrives.
- light telepathy ; they can talk telephatically to every other water fairy. It is very rare for a bond like this to form between a Pearlaice and a fairy, but it does happen ocassionally.
- agility and speed ; because they are so small, they are very nimble. They use their wings to manoevre very quickly through the water. These also enable them to fly outside of the water.
- small energy blasts ; because they are so small, they are easy preys. This is why they are able to shoot small energy blasts towards their enemy. This can temporarily blind or stun them, creating a diversion for the fairy to run. These aren't very powerful and aren't able to kill or seriously injure something.
Behaviour
Fairies are usually very mischievious, loyal, friendly, kind and secretive about their powers. They love to get youngsters in trouble as long as it's nothing serious. When serious harm threatens to overcome their friends, they'll try everything to stop it, and Awill even go as far as to sacrifice themselves.
Stages

Nobody really knows where fairies come from. What is known, is that they are buzzing all throug Atlantis, and can be very annoying. Children are usually the easiest to befriend, while the adults look on from a distance to poke fun at situations or stir up trouble. These children are the easiest to befriend as they are bolder.
[adult]
Being somewhat wiser than the younger ones, they aren't as rash as they once were and like to keep their distance from the Pearlaice. They are much, much more powerful than the young ones and can do more. They are still very mischievious.
Waterfairies will be for sale during Special Events and regular flatsales for the price of 3k. They do require RP to grow.

Watercats

They watch over the pearlaice, and are much like any loyal dog would be. Following their Owner around the pools...Their special abilities, that we have found out with some research, are they are able to breathe underwater, and walk atop the water with little or no problems at all.
These are very strange fox-like creatures...We are not yet sure how they are able to breathe underwater, but it may be that they evolved to live like the Pearlaice. These creatures are fully breedable--and, from what I can see, they grow with their owner. Starting out as puppy-like creatures with three tails...every stage they gain a few tails.
Male and female species have their own characteristics--and different stages of growth. There are three different elements of these Guardians...Demonic, Angelic, and Farie.
These creatures will be ocassionally put up for flatsale or auction. Non-Owners may purchase them ONLY if they are RPed regularly in the guild.

Fishies
Another companion to the Pearlaice, they stick around everywhere and are very good at exploring. As they age along with the Pearlaice, they tend to calm down and hang around more, warning their charge as it does stupid things.
They usually take after their Pearlaice, forming a sort of weird connection, their appearance alters when that of the Pearlaice does.
These creatures are available only to owners and cost 1k. Just PM Pearlaice to order one.
