I'm using it... in fact.. i went and copied all my entires at LJ adn moved them over here... i don't do a lot of weblogging.... so.. this will do just fine. 3nodding

I stared one, but I don't know how much I'll actually use it. I like journals but I never keep them up consistently, so we'll see if this one catches on with me.

I'm thinking about it. I was just about to buy myself a second guild for that. That way I could keep all of it private (or atleast to myself and the few mods that patrol it who I don't know so I don't care that they read it).
But the thing is that I have been asked to start up a food journal. I figure that I might as well get gold for doing what I would do anyway. I am thinking of combining it with an exercise journal. Hey something has to give me the impetus to actually do the thing. xd
My other thought is to not use it as a blog for myself but to actually do what I actually came on gaia to do in the first place, which is role play. So I figure I can do lots of character development if I spend even 10-15 minutes every few days on it.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'll use it, but right now I'm trying to figure out how exactly I'm going to use the thing.

I'm kind of using it as a blog type thing at the moment, but I like the idea of making it more of a journal for something like exercise, except I'd have trouble deciding what to put in it... I could do exercise, cosplay, art, or any number of other things...

i like tetravus's idea. one of my gaia kids: toffer. he is doing some rp with his journal. he's building up some stories about mysteries he's solving.. *fake ones* of course.. but still rather entertaining to read.

I have one, but as of now, it's not getting use much at all. I think I have like one post in it. I have an LJ, so I put my day-to-day journaling there instead.
And then I also have a DA account which has a journal in it as well. So I kinda have one journal too many. I think I will most likely end up using my Gaia journal for something non-journal related. Maybe to post updates about what I am working on in my Art Shop (like who's comission I am drawing at that time etc) or something like that.
So if people wanna actually read about me, they'd have to have a lookie at my LJ. 3nodding

stare I'm using mine to vent my frustrations at my loss of items and lack of action taken about it. It's main use is going to be to save my LJ friends from having to endure Gaia rants all of the time.

Naww, I'm honestly thinking it's really a pointless kind of option. I really like my LJ, I can customize it and it really keeps people who just aren't trolling through out of it, leaving it to serious friends and such.

LoL true I agree it does have a limitation on customizing it, but i kind of like it when i'm trolling boredly through gaia and need something to amuse myself with.. i don't have a LJ but i do use Diaryland and Xanga. Oi I need to stick with one journal and keep at it.. then again i never rant or rave about gaia related things on the DL and Xanga journals, so what better place than any then for me to rant about gaia in my own little gaia journal.. and add whatever nonesense i feel at the time since i'm there..
i have no life. It's sometimes fun. Sometimes.... it makes me sad razz

What I really don't like about the blogs here is that they have to follow the TOS and guidelines for the site. They wanted them to be able to replace other blogs, but who would want to give up the freedom?

I've been using mine...I was thinking about starting a LJ when I heard they were working on this one so I waited. I really like it..it's fun to be able to write a little bit about my day. I am writing mainly about my "job" - being a mommy and thoughts that I have or would like to express but don't necessarily want to make a guild thread around. Plus I photograph my kids ALOT so I can post links there and friends can view the pictures at their leisure. I made mine friends only so if I don't have you on my list and you want to be......feel free to send a request...I haven't added anyone new cause I haven't been on much lately.
