While everyone else has left me,
You're the only one that remained;
While everyone turned their back,
You're the only one that stayed.
You held my hand, you held me close,
When no one else dared to;
You kissed me soft, gave me warmth,
When no one else wanted to.
They dragged me down,
But you lifted me up;
They ruined me,
But you patched me up.
When the light is gone,
I go home to you;
When I'm alone,
Despair, I love you.

*sighs* I don't have more adjectives for you about your poetry. I will just use the old standbys that have worked so well in the past and say, this is really powerful and it just tears at the reader in a raw way.
