Yesterday, while we were at school, burglars came through our window downstairs and took a few family heirlooms, a digital camera, our ps2 and all our games, and a beautiful red guitar that my mother had felt was hers when she first saw it. I felt really violated and angry that I had not been present to protect our items. I slept downstairs with a baseball bat, should they had come back. I know it wasn't much but, my honour, that feeling of violation. Talk about feeling gross. But we made a homemade pizza, and broke out the cookies and milk and read a few chicken soups for the soul, and said they have not stolen our pride and our happiness. So ha ha!!

Those burglars sound like a bunch of lowlifes. But it's good that you were still able to stay strong afterwards.

Thanks...well I guess it's been awhile now...but now it seems like you never know! Has anyone else been burglarized?
