What do you think about coats? I have always wanted one, but it is so hard to find one. Do you know about any online stores who sell coats? I actually made one once, but the hood got way too big, and I didn't have a black thread, just a blue, and it is too thin... And if you don't know about any online stores, do you know how to make a coat? and what kind of fabric to make it out of? Cotton? I don't know, maybe I should just buy one, but it might get so horrible expensive with the freight... sweatdrop

I love coats. Mostly trench coats, they're absolutely fascinating.
Probably because they're a stereotype thing for vampires
But still, they do give you a feeling of superiority
Plus, they look wicked awesome
I like the ones most wiccans use too
They're like the one you just described
They're flowy and with hoods.
If you look at the clothing link list in this forum I'm pretty sure you'll find a lot of pretty ones there
I'm learning how to sow, so I cant really help you with that
But I've heard it's really difficult to make one

Yeah, it is, if you wan't to make one thatæs really beautiful, and doesn't look like a curtain... Like the one me and my mother made some years ago... (It was actually made out of a white curtain that we colored black... rofl )

-[I have like, 5 trenchcoats. Two black ones, one kind of piratey looking, the other all spooky like. Got one at Hot Topic, and go the spooky one at JC Pennies. I have like three others that I bought from the thrift stores for about a dollar each. A nice flasher tan one, and some other ones including a pinstripe one.]-

i love coats!! they are basically my main accessory... i have my soccer warmup jacket, but i don't wear that much. then my lovely trenchcoat i got from my first girlfriend, my corpse bride hoodie from hot topic, and the jacket i love ever so much, a black awesome one from hot topic... and i'm making a patch for the back of it w/ mcr stuff....
my mom makes jackets, but they're quilted and s**t, so they don't really please the figure, if you know what i mean... it's hard though, because you have to factor in the shoulders and curvy things lolz.

hard to get them here
i mostly get mine from catalogs and sites
i get them a little big so i can curl up in them
and they fit me longer ^^

I love coats, but it's pretty hard to get a good coat here, so I still don't have one... cry
Though, I'm thinking about buing one from an online shop or something ^^

I like them dark, long, w/ long sleeves and a coller. Buckles are also pretty fun twisted

I love trechcoats also...
I have a huge one with a load of ropes and stuff it is very cool...
England isn't the best place to get them though....

I love jackets of any kind. Especially militant jackets and trench coats.
I have: A The Used jacket from Hot Topic; an MCR hoodie from Hot Topic; a badass militant jacket from Goodwill (it's black and looks remarkably like MCR's new outifts); a Lip-Service jacket with buckles and straps all over it; and a long black trench coat that I bought after I saw my boyfriend's (I would have just stolen his trench coat, but I'm 5'3" and 107lbs, and he's 5'10" and 140, so his was like a bajillion sizes too big sad ).
