Someone was found dropping tons of Garnets in Zant, and many people are already lv 70+, and there are millionaries running around in the game.

How did that happen?

Because of a dupe expolit going around people has been abusing the game with. They could dupe garnets to sell for zuly and scrolls and jams to be able to get a lot of mad exp from using them on kings (they use a Blood Charm, get max out their Stamina with Jams, and then do it again and again).

That is how they became millionaries and lv 70+ within such a short time.

Now, that means there are four possible situations of how the GMs will deal with this.
1. A second reset.
2. A rollback.
3. Banning of all the accounts that got the duped items.
4. Do nothing and let this go.

#1 and #2 is possible, but it would just make people even more turned off about the game, since it has already been done once.

#3 is convient for people that hasn't been a victicm, but very inconvient for people that are victicms and does not know they did something wrong. But the plus of this is, there's going to be slightly less people playing the game, thus slightly less lag. xd

#4 would NOT be a good idea. The economy would just be royally messed up once again (imagine 500k for a G1 gem... >.<), and sooner or later the GMs would have to reset the game a second time.

Until I get an official word from Gravity, I'm not touching the game ever again. I'm not going to play for hours on end only to get reset or rollbacked again because of some stupid bunch of people trying to ruin the game for others. stare

why cant the damned gms fix all glitches and s**t before...

why dont they ban the s**t outa any hackers..even for anything >.< this pisses me off

well i wish i was there when that happened =p, anyway people were asking hackers what they wanted and they did it =p, rose has horrible security its easy to get passed they should do something. =D.

This is what I'd like to see Triggersoft/ Gravity do:

1) Close the damn beta already. Even if it's only a temporary closure, they could then set out to ban hackers, & they could not just forge a new IP & make a new account then return to screwing up the game.

2) Move all character data server-side. Client-side storage is extremely easy to modify, it's hardly 'hacking'. You go in, tell some files you have 999 gems, & the server can readily be forced to accept that. It's stupid to use this method of data storage on any online game, period. Every other MMO that has done has had the exact same problems.

3) Hire more GMs who can actually do something. The current GMs do not have any real powers to control the population. And, there are not enough of them. The GMs need to be able to actually manage the game, not just taking note of people doing something supicious or asking around.

That's just my opinion.

i too at one point when i hate this game will dupe to learn more o-O. =D.

I think they just should ban all the cheaters... I have no gems and I am too afraid to buy one now. I guess I will have to wait for the ones you get on main quest.

I don't know if I am gonna start over once more if they reset again. Getting passed level 30 is just too boring.
