This is just a thread for the posting and discussing of various bands that seem to fall into the punk catigory without actually being called punk. Two bands I've found seem to do this are Queens of the Stone Age and old Yellowcard (Where We Stand album).

I not 100% sure I understand the question but Flogging Molly seems to fit, cuz people always put them with punk bands, and I guess they could be, but it's a little vague. I love them though heart

Caley Fawks I not 100% sure I understand the question but Flogging Molly seems to fit, cuz people always put them with punk bands, and I guess they could be, but it's a little vague. I love them though heart i think i heard em dont they have some stuff with bagpipes(i love most bagpipe bands, ima sucker for celt music)

I love them though heart i think i heard em dont they have some stuff with bagpipes(i love most bagpipe bands, ima sucker for celt music) Yes, they're an Irish Punk band; pretty modern stuff. They're decent.

I'd say that maybe some of the early System of a Down stuff could be considered punk,or even some of their newer stuff,I 'm just not really into their newer stuff 3nodding
