I think pretty much everybody loves the animals in the wizarding world. But how many of them would you consider pet-material? There are cute, beautiful, scary, and downright grotesque beasts in the magical world. What would you choose?

If I could have any magical creature I think I'd choose a pygmy puff to start with. They're just so cute and fluffy! Either that or an owl (like Pigwidgeon).

I'd want a Pygmy Puff because they sound so cute whee . But if I were to get an owl, I would want an Eagle Owl.

Either an owl, pygmy puff. Or if they had pegasus I'd get one. But yeah, I'd probably get a pygmy puff that would be purple or a owl like Hedwig.

It would be fun to have a thestral, if only to be able to have a pet that very few other people could see. It would be fun to convince people that I am insane. biggrin
Besides that, probably a crup or a hippogriff, if one would want to be with me.
Possibly a cat, because I like cats. A magical cat would be even more fun. Like one similar to Crookshanks.

I know it's basic but I'd enjoy having an owl, one because of their attributes and secondly because they have a usefulness outside of just being a pet.
