Once again I shall go firsteh. I first heard Elliott on this kewl modern rock station WHTG that we used to have before it went mainsteam then backed up and is now this bizarre alterna-mainstream hybrid. But thats niether here nor there. I heard Baby Britain on that station one night and i fell in love with it heart But i don't think i really explored his music til a little bit later on, and i pretty much settled on him being my fave solo male singer of all time 3nodding

I first heard of him... when my older brother came into the room and was like "Hey, my friends showed me this guy, Elliott Smith. I think you might like him, I put an album on the 'shared documents'" The album was Figure 8. I was like the biggest Boingoloid (fan of Oingo Boingo) EVER at that point. So, I listened to the album, and liked it quite a bit. Especially Lost And Found. So I listened to it alot, for a little over a week, then put it aside. Then later I showed the album to my friend, who LOVED it. He instantly went and bought Basement. He burned it for me, and I didn't like it too much. Several months later I listened to it again, and I fell in LOVE with it. It is still one of my favorite albums. A few months later my brother came back and said "I see how much you like Elliott Smith, so I got the rest of the albums and a few rares, for you. Check them out." Now, my Elliott collection is far superior to his. xd

But Elflusters can be too fanatical. neutral ANYhoo, unfortunately i have limited resources and depend on my local library for much of my music, so I've only heard Eithor Or, XO Figure 8, and Basement, as well as the songs on Good Will Hunting, and a few others on Blog Radio. and just yesterday i heard Elliott's version of Supersonic whee I love that song
