People tell me I am a very creative and imaginitive person. Silverronin asked me to create an imperial city that is meant to fend off a siege. So with little information and using what I would say is the almost exact description of the castle and city of Sigmar in my book ((Points to siggy and literates corner.)) I have devised this.

So if you ever need me to create something for you, just ask and give me details and I can give you what I can come up with.

The only differences are the way the houses are built and the entrance to the city. Enjoy my work I did last minute.

AMATSU: The Imperial City

The true and only entrance known to anyone lies to the east, facing the ocean. There are others but only a select few who are in the council or survived the war still know where they are. The city was relocated to center of Haveta, from the island.

As you enter the gates, you must pass through three giant iron grates, accompanied by large wooden doors, which have large wooden blocks to secure them in place. Between each door, there are holes in the cieling where molten metal and explosives are thrown at enemies who intrude. There are arrow slots along the sides in the wall where archers will lay volley upon volley of arrows.

When the last gate is passed, you can see the main castle sitting on the hill. The march up there for regular troops is close to four hours. The city itself is for refuge, housing, and the marshalling of the army. The winding path is stacked building upon building, making each level a suitable protector for its lower. As you reach about half way to the top, a giant commercial center is in place there, in the dead center is the central park. Only Halvetian Soil is in the central park, along with the entrance to the Labrynth.

All the houses have a flimsy countruction look to it, but undreneath is solid earth and steel. Each house is heavily fortificated, and meant to house and protect people and soldiers. Each house is two stories and flat topped.

As the march continues upwards, there are five more layers of buildings that must be reached before the gates to the castle walls come in view. There is a giant courtyard right before the gates. There are always twenty guards on watch infront of the gate, fifteen on the walls with bows readied on each wall. The sentries are changed at three hour intervals to keep the troops fresh.

The castle is four stories high, and three basements deep. The floors are highly stocked with food and arms to supply and refuge many troops and civilians for up to six months at any given time, should a siege occur. In times of peace it is resident to commanding officers, mages, and infantry untis. The castle is kept under tight surveilance, and is beautifully furnished, behind certain tapestries soldiers can come out of hidden pannels in the walls, where cartain barracks are held, others lead to a holding area in the second basement. In the first basement are arms and supplies for the castle. The second level is a living and training grounds for most of the army. The third basement is a giant prison which is never spoken of, since many people never venture beyond the iron doors of this holding area. The castle is deemed inpenetrable, even if an invading army can breach the city itself.
