I'm thinking of buying ALOT of 1 item, waiting (hoping) for it to go up in price and selling it, getting very rich! xd

Is that against the rules or redface do you think it'd be classed as "spoiling the fun"?

If not, do any of you do it? What do you have? biggrin

So long as you don't artificially increase the prices I don't see anything wrong with it. Back in the day there was actually a group of very rich Gaians who pretty much bought out all the 03 and other expensive items just so they could raise the prices. Technically the mods said they couldn't do anything to stop them, but they quickly became the least liked people on Gaia. (The guild was disbanded on other charges)

Eep! Well I wouldn't be able to buy out an entire years worth of items like that! I'm pretty poor sad But 1 item... i think Gwees are pretty popular! I just hope they don't bring out another cute dragon type thing! Or it'll be a big a** waste of time and money!

Investing in donation items is rarely a bad idea, but just keep in mind that sometimes it takes a while for items to appreciate in value. Just try to remember patience. wink

Obviously, I'm going for gwee's right now wink But yeah I will probably keep them for about a year before selling them, IF they've gone up in price.

What other items do you think I should grab?

Of the more recent items, I think Dark Halo's, Katana's and G-Blades are all a good idea. The halo is immensely popular, and has several really good "replacement" poses for older items. The katana and G-Blade are less versatile, but appeal to a pretty large population of Gaia: the cosplayers. Of the two, the katana is probably the better bet, because Gaia is full of little ninja/samurai wannabes. Also, if you can afford them, Coco's, KiKi's and CN Scarves are always a good idea.

I think you shouldn't buy things that you wouldn't mind actually owning. I bought my Gwee for 10K, now they're selling for less than that. But really, I think she (or he, I'm not sure) looks cute. If they were never to rise in value, I'd still be happy with the l'il critter.

I also really like my scarf from last month. Of course, I am planning on having a virtual wedding next month heart heart (With my RL husband. Aren't we silly?)

I have a few gwees myself, and a few katanas.. and veils. Hope that i can sell them one day for profit.

I actually had 31 CN scarves on my other account.... Thats all Im going to say about that.

But on another note, its not a great idea to "buy out" a recent item as there are just to many of them. And with the current item people can just donate and put more in the market making it virtually impossible to buy them all.

Also babe, I already donated for this months letters, I just need to send you yours.
