Now, I am not Somalian, but I know many people who are. In fact, I've heard that Minnesota is a popular destination for Somalian people that come to the US. Now, I have no problem with Somalian people, and I am well aware that immigrants tend to first choose to stay with people from their country of origin, but does anyone here know what brought Somalians to Minnesota?
P.S.
I am not racist, I just want to make sure that's clear here. I'm just curious. I'd ask the same question about our Scandinavian and German populations, but this one's a little more recent.

I try to be open about it.. But it gets out of hand sometimes.
At Electrolux, a facotry in St. Cloud.. On 9/11, they cheered when the towers collapsed. All of the workers were going to try to beat them up when the cops came. I shrugged it off when my mom said it,
but this year in Geo we watched a movie on 9/11. It contained reinactments and actual footage. I'm trying not to cry, and they were laughing and mocking the movie.. neutral
I'm totally accepting of the muslim relgion. Any religion. But Somalians cause problems at our school. There are always fight in my homeroom sweatdrop
Not all of them though.. Lots are really nice 4laugh

i know a lot of Somalian beacuse they live around the area that im liveing at the moment some are nice and fine but some are snooty and act like jerks im like what the hell if you have a problem why have you traveled all this way which is a good question what draws so many Somalian to our state i mean its not like i dont like them it's just their are 50 other states to choose from why is minnesota so full maybe it's our lakes gonk

I'm sorry, but I have to say the only reason they are here, cause of our welfare department gives so more money than we all make in a Single $9.00 an Hour Job. It's unfair really but heck that's not what annoys me.
It's their behavior towards others.
Some of these people freaking PISS ON THE SEAT more than in the bowl!
My Girlfriend had to freaking clean up that mess that this Somalian women left in her wake. Not only that. a year ago i was denied PORK!!!! YES PIG MEAT! She refused to touch it, sell it or even look at it. She made me wait 30 minutes for this? WTF! LEAVE the DAMN RELIGION AT HOME. When working at Cub Foods, you were hired cause we assumed that you would treat all customers without prejudice, a service. If there is something you can't do that job isn't for you.
A Blind Man was denied A Ride in a Taxi cause he had a seeing eye dog. Again, leave your religion at home or find work else where.
These people are stealing our jobs (cause they take anything that is below our poverty) They are taking our tax money and using it to buy Luxerious items that even we can't afford but they can cause they have 10 Children. and 10k in EBT Cash and Food Stamps. They are issued Credit cards even though they have started their Residents in America.

Ever heard of Luthern Social Services? Well, they go on mission trips to the poor war torn countries of Africa (like Somalia), do mission work, and end up bringing a s**t load of the Somalians back to Minnesota. Same with Liberia, which is another country in Africa going through tough times.
I used to work out in Brooklyn Park and I swear to god, that's all that lived out there! Personally, Liberians annoy the s**t out of me and are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They acted like I should owe them something. It's like our government has set you up in section eight housing, given you food stamps and cheap medical care and I owe you what now? I think they thought my family used to own their family back when slavery was cool because obviously all white people used to own slaves rolleyes
And Bat Weasel brings up some good points about Somalians. It's like you live in the ******** USA, so keep your personal beliefs seperate from what the company you are working for believes. If you don't want to let bar flies into your cab, or some blind dude with a dog THEN DON'T BECOME A CABBIE. Same with working at grocery stores. DON'T TAKE THE JOB IF YOU CAN'T DO IT CORRECTLY.
