~Starting Out or Already Started~
Hello all! To clear up any confusion I'm going to tell you about RP's and developement threads. As you have seen there are many different subforums in which you can start to Post. If you have already posted your profile and recieved your realm then you may start posting, however, if you are going to post a Developement Thread about yourself then you MUST post it in your Home Realm. All subforums are for roleplaying, and each has their own events and storyline that will occur in any set subforum.
As a side note:
All the Event/Battle/Storyline/Update threads, Roleplay Wise will be started by me, and will be labelled as "RP Open" when the thread is set for everyone to join it.
More about Developement Threads: These are threads that the individual can post to develope their history/background ((like your personal story)) they can also be used to help introduce your character to the scene. These threads that are only about yourself must be posted in your Home Realm, this is the realm that you are given after you post your profiles, they will come more into play later so it is important that you have a Home Realm before you start to post. You can also set up developement threads that involve meeting other people which can be posted in other realms besides your Home Realm, and also you can join other peoples developement threads as long as they put in the title "RP Open"
For Example: "Silver's Story ((Developement)) RP Open"
There are two key elements when you post a developement thread, one is to put "devlopement" in brackets next to the main title, and the second component is "RP Open" this allows others to know that they can join in your thread, however, if you only want certain people to post then you should post the title like this:
"Silver's Story ((Devlopement)) Private"
Putting the word "Private" after allows members to know that they need your permission in order to post in your thread.
Or you can just put:
"Silver's Story ((Devlopement))"
Meaning it's a developement of your character, but not open for RP'ing.
Also, you can make a Developement Thread that is solely about yourself, and then a Developement RP, in which your character will be interacting with others, you may make a seperate thread for your Development RP make sure to include this in the title, you cannot make a Private Developement RP, as that goes into the catagory above.
An Example of the Devlopement RP:
"Silver's Story ((Devlopement RP))"
This lets everyone know that it's an open RP but your the main character. They are similar to the "RP Open" threads so if you do not have a seperate thread that you wish to keep about yourself, then you may simply use the title "((Devlopement)) RP Open" in principle, the RP Open and Developement RP are basically the same thing the second title "Development RP" is to be used if you already have an existing Development thread, this avoids confusion between the two threads you have created.
Let me clairfy this a bit more, as I'm sure a few of you are lost. I can make a Devlopement thread called "Silver's Story ((Developement))" which is just about my character, and then I can make another thread called "Silver's Story ((Developement RP))" this way I have a seperate thread that is just about my character, and then another thread where I can further develope my character, but others can join in and an RP is set up. Tournament Overview
As far as tournaments are concerned, most of the main tournaments will be set by an NCP, however, if you youself wish to create a tourament you are responsible for the following:
- Entry Fee
- Rules
- Structure (Post Limits, Time Limits)
- Opening RP (As a prelude for every fight)
- Notify a Crew Member to lock a fight once it's over
- Prize
If an organizer tries to scam the users then they shall be banned from the guild and a Gaian Administraiter shall be notifed immediently.
