As a calf, Keir has remained nervous and shy around other deer for the loss of his mother and the constant bullying by his older cousin.
However growing and managing to socialise with other members of the herd made him grow slowly more confident and into the young male everyone now knows.

The only calf of Aridana, his father is unknown to him.
All he remembers of his aunt is that she died when he was very young, about the same time when his younger cousin, Keir joined the small family.
As a calf he was attacked by a fox and as a result, it left a hole in his right ear.
And because of that attack, he got it into his head that only the strong will survive and decided that he wanted to be strong!
He started to pick on his younger cousin and start fights with him, called it training and in toe, treat him as his punching bag.
When his 'antlers' grew in, he became a sort of bully to the other calves and fawns, showing off his strength and agility to others.
But it wasn't till a run in with the dead Lord of the Herd's sons, Waoki and Quinlin stood up to him after he tried to confront them.
His reckless behaviour and terrible temper caused him to have his left ear bitten by the one eye'd calf's older brother and making the older, darker calf become all the more dark.
Through the months, Ronno continued to train and pick on his younger cousin who grew with him.
Both becoming strong young corps and watching as their antlers grew to their proud forms.
Right now, Ronno is an outrider, his antlers are immensly sharp thanks to him sharpening them on trees everyday.
And now he has very big things on his mind.

Her sister was the mother of Keir.
They where born into the Firebringer herd and where both normal, happy little fawns.
As they got older they where claimed by two different stags and both had their fawns, Aridana a little earlier than her sister.
