I write simply because I want to.
Not for fame or fortune, not because I have to meet deadlines or because people are asking me to.
But my reasons were really quite messed up in the past. I wanted to get a book published before I turned thirteen (I had seven months at the time), so I set myself a goal to write one chapter's worth of story every week.
They weren't short chapters, either. 6000-7000 words.
If I hadn't realised that what I was striving for was not only foolish, but also impossible earlier, I might still be following that strict schedule now.
Ah, how foolish.
Back on that having to meet deadlines point -- narratives that I write for school or homework are seldom worth reading. It's the whole time factor, and the fact that I hate it.
Spoonfed:
- Why do you write? - - Ever thought of publishing a book? - - Discuss my foolishness -

I write because it's fun! and a lot of people like the stuff I write so Why stop writing? Though of publishing a book but not any time soon. It's a lot of work and I have no ideas yet! but yet is the key word!

I write simply because I like it. I enjoy blowing my brain apart to get to the squishy stuff beneath...meaning, the most creative creativity that I have.
In addition...it helps me clear my mind. So many things happen so quickly in my life that not even a blink of the eye may pass before another emotion is completely revealed. This gives me a chance to clear myself of all that, and live life better than I could without it.

I write because to me, not writing is akin to not eating. I have no choice. It's a pressure in the back of my mind, a craving that consumes me with inspiration. If I didn't write, I'd go completely fscking nvts! As to books, I'm trying to write one, but it's slow going.

It can be hard. It's important that you don't stop at all. If you take a break from writing, that break's going to grow and grow until you give up.

It's actually really fun, because I get to make up a whole new solar system. This includes planets, species, customs, beliefs, religions, government, history.... it's a lot of imagining. I just can't write very fast, which is why it's going so slow. ^.^;

I'm just remembering this guy who...
Don't worry. You don't need to know.

LoveWitchLoki I don't know, creating whole new world's is half the fun. Definitely.
But it won't be half as fun for the readers if the writer isn't careful.

You know. Go through your chapters and fix all the little mistakes.
How about it?

You have talent for conveying emotions Hinata, if only you were more skilled in grammer in spelling. Those make a big difference in your writing.

Improper grammar, spelling and puncutuation are my biggest pet peeves when it comes to stories. I mean, you can't read something and feel the emotion within it if you don't even understand what the author's trying to say.

It's okay! but that's for the offer. I think my other friends wants to, but she's on vacation, she went on this real cool crusie. BUt when she gets back (next week) then my stories will be all grammerrifc (I don't really knwo fi that's word, so don't quote me on that) again.
