I want to direct a play my Senior year. I'm looking at Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, or a kinda wacked out, modern, nearly black-box version of Alice in Wonderland (that I would be tweaking myself).
But that is not my main question.
What I wanna know is if any of you have ever directed and have any advice, things I should be sure to do, things I can do in the 2 1/2 years I have until I actually start auditions, etc. Directors have to deal about a whole lot and I could definitely use some advice.
No rush though. I am an incoming sophomore. whee
