Quote:
Well, my dad told me about one of my old friends recently. Now, my dad's a psychologist, so he can identify with people.
Well, my friend is really depressed, and my dad says that sometime in this next year he's either a: gonna get in trouble, b: commit suicide, or c: run away from home.
Well, what my dad told me was that he's going through some really hard times. He's working really hard because he had gone over his phone bill once, and he's paid his mom at least $600. Yet his mom still says that he owes him much more. And he's trying to fit in in high school. Once he joined the football team, he was beat up there. He gets beat up at school, and he's just trying to get around. He's failing classes and writing poetry that is to the level of lyrics of bands like NIN and FFTL. And he's only a year older than I am.
Should I try to ask my dad to let me talk to him? Because he tried asking my friend's dad, but since we're associated with a different part of their family (like friends of that family) we weren't allowed to. Should I ask my dad to get his email or something? Because I'm really concerned about him, and I don't want him to commit suicide. He's a really great person, and he's having a hard time. I just want to chat and make sure that he doesn't feel totally alone.
