i know ive never shown any art work to you guys,,,but anime i can help you with shading. i got an 100 on a project that was all about shading! ino its not that big a deal cus theres curiculum....how other would judge all that but i can help with shading very much so!

Instead of searching for other colors (Which you can too if you want, or use the preselected swatches) Just use the 'burn' tool. Same thing if you want to lighten it a little, you can use the 'dodge' tool.
