Please help me..i need your advice. I have this friend at school..Brett, I told him about me being a psi vamp. He took it really well and even talked to me about it. I am still relitavely young so I didnt sence that he was an unawakened vamp as well. I always knew there was something different about him but I could never pinpoint what. Yesterday I was having a really bad day and I accadentally drained his energy, today it turns out that I accadentally triggered his awakening. And he hates me. I tried to talk to him . I told him I would help him through it and asked him if he was mad at me his response was " That depends on if you contaminated me or not" Contaminated him!! This is my close friend who I confided in ..and he thinks I CONTAMINATED him..like im some sort of discusting disease. After he said that I walked away in tears. I dont know what to do! crying

I honestly don't know what to say.
You could try to send him to some site, like Vampires of Eternal Night, and let him search things out on his own.
Really, it's stated all over that a vampire doesn't "contaminate" someone.

Either that, or you will have to let him figure it out on his own. It's... rough... when you "awaken", even if just slightly.
(I "reawakened" recently, as in I ignored it all in middle school, and this year a school project of "the journey inward" had it resurface. It took a little to disown it all, but it comes back much harder. Mmm, school is almost out... no more high school, hello college...)

I hope that he comes to terms, and appologizes. I would hate to lose a friend, especially over something that isn't my fault, and is just a misunderstanding.

I think that the best thing to do would be to give him some sources online to check out on vampirism, let him know that you'll be there for him whether it be for answers or simply support, and then just give him some time to sort out his thoughts. I really help that everything turns out all right. sad

First of all, you didn't do anything wrong, really. Unless you think awakening him is wrong...

But, it was a coincidence that you happened to do that, and he awakened.

I say, if he isn't going to listen, just give it some time now... and try later.
Eventually, it'll probably come to light for him.

yeah, I'd say time will heal it. He'll gradually come to terms with it, and forgive you later, unless you guys have already distanced yourselves by that time. And I'm afraid to say that the alternative to that is, he refuses his vampirism and lives a life of denial.

Stuff worked itself out....sadly not in the way I wanted it too..We have agreed to dissagree. He wont speek to me (or insult me) And I wont speek to him. we arnt really mad at each other anymore..just ..seperate.

wow....I'm really sorry. that sucks; it really sucks to lose a friend. I think the worst part about losing a friend is when you realize they're not exactly friend material if they reject you like that. uh-oh, I hope what I say's not depressing you.

sorry to hear that. But I do hope things work out in the end. Just give it time and dont rush or push into it alright. Just let things settle downand heal over. et him have time to think about and see whats happenign to him now. He has alot to learn as we all did when we first awakened.
