About
Fan Fic Contest
The contest will be divided up into 4 separate categories depending on the genre of the story.
The following categories will be as followed:
Romance- fluff and sweetness
Comedy- LAMO
Tragedy/Angst- Character Death, tear jerker, etc.
Horror- supernatural, ghosts, dead guys with chainsaws, etc.
All fics MUST be oneshots with no less than 1000 words and no more that 10,000.
The contest will run from October 10th till January 25th. Also I am opening this contest early, but I will not except entries till Oct. 10th.
I want to give you all as much time as I can to get these fics done.
Keep in mind that you can only submit one fic per category, but you can submit four fics in all, one per category.
The fics MUST be ones that have yet to be posted... meaning I don't want you grabbing one of your old fics from AFF.net or FF.net or anywhere else.
I have change the above. You can submit posted fics as long as they were written for this contest when it was first announce some months ago.

Rules
- Do not, I repeat DO NOT steal others work. Not only will you be thrown from the contest, but you will be banned from the guild. I have zero tolerance for that.
- Keep the stories PG-13... Lemons are allowed... just keep them un-graphic as much as you can. Use your imagination...
- No late Submissions will be allowed without a fine of 1k... yup its a lot, but it's there to keep you on time.
- No character bashing in your fics.
- Yes it MUST be SasuNaru or NaruSasu. Other side pairings are Ok.
- No crossovers
- AU's are allowed
- No OCs ((original characters, at least not in the main plot... you can have side characters that are OC.))
- NO script writing
-No sharing with others before hand... I want to keep everything anonymous until after voting.

Fill out the entry form and sent it to me along with 500 gold for your entry fee.
From there I will post your fic in this forum. It will be anonymous so that everyone get a fair shot... also since some of the mods might join just for fun...

Judges
Judging will be done by the members. After the deadline I will give an alloted amount of time to allow everyone a chance to read the fics... maybe a week or so.
After that I will post up a poll so that you can vote.
You will vote for the number one fic in each category along with the best over all fic.

Q: What do we put for media??
A: Put down whether you used Photoshop or OpenCanvas or anything like that.
Q: For the HTML Link, i'm using Photobucket .com, so which one would I put down?
A: Its the one that starts with html or to be more precise the URL. So when you click on it it takes you to the picture.
Q: What banners are to be made?
A: Both, would be great so that the main banner and the little banner match.

sounds like a lot of fun, count me in!!! I have a couple quick questions before I finish mine and send it in (quick aren't I? 3nodding ): when we fill out the form, what do we put for media?? It seems like my drawings won't show up right when I scan them...they look way too light crying crying crying crying I have no time whatsoever to go over every single color in paint to make it show up (I kinda don't want my family to see it, and they are ALWAYS out in the living when I'm on the comp crying crying crying crying ). If I can find a way to make it better before the deadline, then I'll submit something; I just hope i can in time crying crying crying crying

If we need to we can extend the due date, and if it's still not scanning we'll understand and wait. After all, what's waiting a few days for an entry compared to how long we've been waiting for the fillers to end. xd
