Well Seagr request that I right a thread telling of the existence of the greys. First off "what is a grey jedi?" you might ask...well it's simple they are jedi's who believe the light is far from perfect and not strong enough and that the dark controls you. They believ that if they train in both sides but do not take part in the beliefs of either then they are superior. Whats the catch? Grey's usually sway easily or end up dark (due to the persuasion of the dark side) But the stronger thier will the less likely they are to faulter. In all technicalities the grey IS the best...but sence no one is perfect enough to be 100% a grey even the current greys, such as myself, are either leaning towards one side or the other...but use powers from both.
hope this is useful and helps you understand the grey jedi. And I'm a Vice captain so don't try telling me they don't exist. Thanks for Reading, Exios Zandrof King of Manosia

It seems that 'Grey Jedi' and 'Dark Jedi' are two completely different types though.
'Grey Jedi' were once Jedi, and have left the order; they don't nessessarily use any of the dark side of the force.
'Dark Jedi' are those who use both light and dark techniques. But due to the a**l customs of the Jedi, many end up falling to the Dake Side.

um... not quite... sweatdrop
Dark jedi use dark powers... that's why they are called Dark.
Grey jedi use both, depending on what they want to learn.

wait a seck... this whole bit's confusing me lol..... now as i see it yes the dark jedi are dark because they use the dark side... so then people ask what's the diference between the sith and dark jedi.... the dark jedi use the dark side of the force yet don't follow the ways of the Sith... some good examples are the Dark Jedi acadamy students and my own character Shae'l who turned away from the sith ways, yet he is still a dark jedi... so yes a gray jedi uses both sides of the force and a dark jedi is merely one who doesnt follow the sith ways but uses the dark side of the force....
now what i'm about to say i know i'm gonna recieve heck about from someone... which is even Luke skywalker could be considered a gray jedi as he trained in the dark side of the force for a while though he gave up using it at all eventually... but he never gave up the light side of the force making him a gray jedi for a time....

for one of the major philosophical views on gray jedi look here Vergere was famous for her views that the force was neither dark nor light but neutral and it was the user who was dark or light...

the force is the force. It is how people use it that matters.
