I've never heard about this game before...what is it about?

stoner364 I've never heard about this game before...what is it about? Koudelka is sort of what you would call a, "Side Story" to Shadow Hearts. Pretty much, you get to play as Koudelka, Edward Plunkett, and James O'Flaherty and running around Nemeton Monastery, solving a huge mystery, etc..

stoner364 Oh, so does it continue along with the others or just a begining? It's just a beginning. Well, sort of. [semispoiler] It takes place about 14 years before Shadow Hearts. And it sort of helps make sense of the second half of Sh - but it's one of those games that you don't really have to play in order to get the next game. Koudelka is in SH with a son, but you don't see any Edward, or any other characters (WIth the exception of Bacon)
So, by playing Koudelka, you can get a general idea as to what happened to james, what the deal w/ Patrick and Elaine was, Where edward went (well, assume that one), and why Nemeton is in ruins.[/semispoiler] Great game, quick play.
