Looking for other people who play or have played Chromehounds.

I wanna know what side you played for, what role type you used, and any fun stuff you found out for that RT. Plus, I wanna know if anyone figured out if the Humane and Bloodless medals are glitched... how do you go any rounds without shooting something? And whos been hit by pile drivers? C'mon, you can raise your hands here.

Fought for Tarakia in my squads only sole purpose Command Mech. Also played as a Soldier and Defender/Scout mech. Fun stuff for the Defender/Scout... if you have armor plates on your sides, wheels, and a two machinegun / two rocket (4 salvo type) combo, people don't take you seriously until your close enough to drive around them in circles. Use the tactic well.

I want this game. I may go out and buy it soon, but business is dead this time of year and I have no money.

Sadly, this game sounds just out of my circle of interest. It sounds particularly fun, but I'd probably get bored after about two hours, from the sound.

I became addicted. Thank god I rented it our you people would never see me online. I spent around six to eight hours a day playing it for a straight week (excluding emergency bathroom breaks due to excess soda consumption). Its actually a lot of fun. The only downside is some people lack the patience to figure out how to build a good mech.

I've heard its like planet side, in the fact that the objective online is to capture territories? Is there PVP?

I'd probably spend more time than I ought to on building the "perfect mech". I tend to focus quite a bit on the finer points of games.

PvP usually, but if no opponents join in your match you'll fight AI opponents. Their pretty good actually, they take cover, work togther, etc.

It is kind of like Planetside, but set up a little different.

I see, so then that must mean that the servers are not open ended, like an MMO style? Is it like, say, Guild Wars, where you meet up with people in town and go into a mission that only your party can access?

Um... sort of. Its open ended in the sense that each area on the map has between 3 and 5 maps, where two (or rarely three) nations duke it out. A team can be made up of squad members or of completly random people who join a lobby someone made. So, the way you conquer stuff is open ended, but it is kind of like Guild Wars for forming groups, though not exactly.

The game is pretty good.

I've been saving the online action until after I'm decent with all the different Hounds role-types, so I've been working on the campaign.

I'm stuck on the last Sniper mission. There's so many enemies and their armor is so thick it's rediculous. ;(

Just my luck. New game excitement and nobody to share it with.

P.S. The Heavy Gunner missions were hard!

I'm officially stuck. I can't finish the Final Mission. The tactics commander hound is impossible.

On Xbox Live, I have joined Morskoj. I like them the best.
