I hope that there are some of you that can help me with my argument. My friend and I were talking, then arguing, over politics at school this morning. He is very much anti-Bush.
His main reasons were that Bush: and that
To be fair, i need facts, with sources and what not, because I hate when i'm right (sometimes I just know I am) but can't back it up with facts. Cuz then everyone gets all like "you don't know that" and whatever. He was making me very angry, and i have to be able to prove him wrong as well as for him to join me as uninformed.

He (my friend) got all offended when I implied that he doesn't know politics. That's not exactly what I meant. What I really meant was that he is greatly misinformed (He thought that "Fahrenheit 9/11" was a really good documentary). But he got pretty mad and told me that just because I had a different opinion than him didn't mean that he didn't know politics. (I DID apologize for the misstatement, by the way, because I really didn't mean to be offensive).

Can anyone give me some facts supporting why Bush went into Iraq and why he makes a better president than Kerry would. Any and all supported facts are very greatly appreciated. Please!

Okay, so it's pretty hard anti-Bush sentiment, but I'll applaud you if you can debate this one.

First actual point: Bush's connections to terrorist-related countries.

First of all, they use a bunch of things having to do with Bush's relatives, in the far and distant past.

It basically claims that Bush Sr. is at fault for training Osama. Yeah, well we thought we were protecting them at that time: Letting them protect themselves against the Russians. It was hardly Bush Sr.'s fault that they turned on the hand that fed them.

The stuff about his college and national guard carrier are in the past as well; Far in the past. I would consider them to be things that he grew up from. The money from Osama's brother was back before 9/11, and was so long ago that how do we know Osama was a terrorist back then? It spoke of Bush Sr. training them, so how do you know that he didn't feel a sense of thankfulness at that time?

Note: At this time, he has yet to make an argument based on his skills as either Governor of my grand state, or as President of this wonderful country. Only acusations based on his past.

Oh my God! Those ballets look sooo hard to understand! The little arrow that points to the place you are supposed to poke out? My goodness. And the whole purge thing is exagerated, and the source is biased.

The fact is, they recounted and recounted, and Bush still won.
