Ok, we all know that Knives, Vash's brother cut off his right arm and then implanted it onto Legato's right side of his body. Now, because Vash can use the angel arm does that meen that Legato can use it, too?

it has tobe 'cause if you remember in one of the last episodes he has his sleeves up and says "I promise that the man belonging to this arm will experience eternal pain and suffering" and he is holding his arm as he says it

Well, I voted Yay for Leggi-sama, lol, but honestly?
Got no ********' clue sweatdrop I mean, don't ya think if he had the power to use it he would have offed Vash with it already? Plus, since he is a human and Vash and Knives are Plant babies maybe he isn't capable of using it? I'm just making guesses.
Then again it would be REALLY stupid of Knives to rip off Leggy's arm, strap on Vash's and then he can't USE it! Why do it? Hrm . . ..

I think he actually almost used the Angel Arm in the manga.... or maybe I just can't see pictures right. o.o
But yeah, having Vash's right arm should give him the option to use the Angel Arm.

no no, you have it all wrong...Legato is a android thing that knives gave vashs arm to. only vash and knives have the angel arm, because their part Plant and part human. if you pay close attention to the series, its cleared up.

...I thought it was Vash's left arm...>_>;; Anyway, I'm not sure if Legato can use the angel arm, though I had thought about it... Maybe having Vash's arm gives him the ability to activate Vash's angel arm. We know Knives was able to activate Vash's angel arm (which is how July got destroyed), and Legato was able to do it also, in episode 24 (if you watch, Legato clenches his left fist just before Vash's angel arm is activated). So, maybe Knives gave Legato Vash's arm with the idea of having Legato force Vash to use his angel arm and destroy some more cities and stuff... just a thought...

Actually Marci I think this was your question when we were back in High School when we got all hyped about the series. But now that we actually think about it that wouldn't make much sense.

mm... acutally now, i'm thinking he probably can't use it. vash and knives are a different... err... species, right? i'd think that would make it improbable that legato could use it. but who knows...
