Ok folks, who has played Juiced? What do you think of it? and should I buy it. I played the demo version and from what I could tell it could be quite fun. I apreciate that the Supra spins out alot (since I don't have a wheel it makes sence) and it seems alot more mature than Need for Speen Underground.

Actually, I've been hearing a lot of good things about Burnout 3 as well. You might wanna check that out if you have time. Never heard of Juiced before. Maybe I'll go pay a visit to Blockbuster later 3nodding

Im a huge fan of NFS:U, as it is literally one of the most FUN games I've ever played. I want my PS2 here, but I dont have it, but I've heard INCREDIBLE things about Burnout 3. And NFSU:2 looks absolutely incredible. I will by that game. As for Juiced, it looks ok, I just havent seen enough of it to decided. 3nodding

I've played a demo stage of Burnout3, and in my opinion, it's gonna be worth every penny of the ~$50 price tag of a new game. You get points for wrecking other cars, you get points for doing incredible wrecks yourself, you get points for missing wrecks. The graphics are crisp and clean, and the controls are actually pretty smooth. With Juiced, you have to be very careful that you don't overwork the controls, or else you'll end up spinning yourself out, or going nose-first in a braking skid into the wall.

Yeah, I figured the big appeal point of Burnout 3 was that there was actual car damage on vehicle designs that exist in real life. I find that amazing since the automobile companies were always saying "we'd never allow that in a million years!!!"

i bought burnout 3 the day it came out. it is very good and very addictive. i have had it for a bit now and am only 39% through the game. the car detail is very nice. the graphics is awsome. i would definatly say its a very nice game...especially for you import guys cause they are about 90% all importish cars. but hey i get to wreck them biggrin

I know what you mean with the spinning out. What attracts me to the game is the ammount of cars you can race. What makes a nice change is that it appears that you can race muscle cars and other sorts of cars, not just imports.
The controls seem to be set up for people with racing wheels and pedal sets. At least thats how it appears, because either you're braking or accelerating flat out. Wich is annoying.
But the more mature graphics and large selection of cars is very intrigueing to me. NFSU2 just seems a bit Bla. But I would definatly apriciate the Roaming feature.

what annoys me the most about burnout is the lack of a manual shift option. most of the time that would make you have to shift in a big hurry but i think it would be fun that way. its probably alot easier to play this with a controller instead of a wheel/pedal setup because of how fast it gets. it gets to where your reflexes have a hard time keeping up with the game and a wheel would just add to that even more i would think. the nfsu2 demo is on this game too....i like the free roaming thing and thats it absolutly all i like about the game.

I don't like juiced... just... nope, doesn't cut it for me
NFSU2 for sure though, i have been waiting for the release of that since it was officially announced some months ago....
Although living in Australia it doesn't get released here for another couple of days... but i have mine on pre-order so i will have it once it has arrived...
I just wanna drive my AE86 around.... oh yeah smile
