Pirates, ye be warned!
This is a world of deceit, a world in which everyone is on his- or her- own. If you intended to sail on The Rebellion, you’d better be prepared for a treacherous journey. On this ship, anything goes.
Captain Eliza awaits your decision. Will you join her crew and set sail for the lost treasure of Viviane Diamalda? Even if it means sailing straight into the Bermuda triangle?

Rules
1. Obey Gaia Terms of Service.
2. Swearing is okay due to the nature of the roleplay, but please keep it reasonable.
3. This roleplay will be written in third person and in the past tense.
4. Anything out of character (OOC) should go in ((double parenthesis)).
5. Power-playing is permitted, but please view the About Joining for an explanation about how it will work.
6. Please read the story, or at least the summaries, before posting so that you know what is going on in the story.
7. Please make your character realistic (as in believable- mythical creatures are fine). Basically, give them a personality- strengths, weaknesses. To quote a friend, “The best hero has his flaws, and the most evil villain has a saving grace.”

8. Please be literate. Use proper grammar. it drvs me up a wall whn ppl tlk lik ths. Just don't do it, okay? I understand a mistake here and there, but I don't want to see people intentionally ignoring capital letters, commas, etc.

About Joining
To join the roleplay:
This roleplay isn’t open to anyone. I’ve had too many horrific experiences with bad writers to allow open entry. So, to enter, you may PM me with your character’s entrance into the roleplay. I do not want a character profile! Write it just like you would if you were posting the character’s entry right into the roleplay itself.
On the subject of power-playing:
Power-playing is permitted, HOWEVER, when you create a character put at the very top of your post 3nodding or stressed . The nod signifies this character can be power-played, and the other that it can’t. You can change the status of your character at any time. I will have a list of characters below this post where you will be able to see who can and cannot be power-played.
Optional:
When you create a character, you may want to visit tektek.org's dream avatar creator to make an image of or as close as possible to your character. This is encouraged, but not required.

I will add onto each character as he/she/it is developed within the story.
Captain Eliza Marlow (BittersweetSurrender)- Captain of her new ship The Rebellion. She has coppery hair and hazel eyes, and she's in search of a crew for her ship.

Captain Eliza Marlow smoothed her hands once more over the coarse wood of her new ship, The Rebellion. A strong gust of wind blew her salt-streaked copper hair across her face. She gazed upon the darkening harbor with hard hazel eyes and took a deep breath. Got my ship, she thought. Now it's time to get a crew.
She strolled confidently down the gangplank in search of the tavern. It took her a long while to find it, but she did. Slamming the door aside, she sat down at the table that had been set up for her.
"Oi!" She yelled, grabbing the attention of as many as she could. "Which of ye'll join my crew? T'will be a long journey, but t'will be worth it if yeh know what I mean." The forced accent successfully cleared her lips, and several people came to stand before her table.
