Babyyy it’s like everywhere I go I see you.
From your eyes and smile it’s like I breathe you.
Helplessly reminisce. I don’t want to compare nobody to you.

“Hello.” red hair fluttered as Danni went over to pickup the phone.
“Hey Danni. What are you wearing?” the voice came from over the phone.
“Ummm I don’t know yet, Kailyn.”
“Well the rest of us are wearing pink, so you should wear some too.”
“Okay I’ll try.” Danni hung up the phone. She pulled off the blue top she had spent all night looking for.
“I was already to go to.” She opened up her closet looking over her wardrobe.
“Pink, pink, pink. Wait! Does it matter what shade? I hope not. She pulled out a hot pink crop top and pulled it over her head.

Knock knock, knock.

“Ready to go?”

“Black eyeliner, red lipstick, and stunnas. Curls.” Pennè ran her hand through her head. This year she was sporting a new look. Her hair was three different colors purple on the top, black on the bottom with green tips.
“Yea I’m ready.” She opened her door and stepped out the door.
“Love the hair, sis.” Pennè’s older brother, Karius said opening the door.
“I know you do.” She poufed her hair one more time and looked up to him.
He raised an eyebrow, “Don’t get to cocky. This ain’t Dakota these girls will tear you apart.”
She tilted her sunglasses, “Let’em try.”

“Ewwwww. Pink is not your color, Danni.” Her heavily lidded eyes skittered over her outfit.
“I though you guys said to wear pink.” a burst of giggles were let out in order by the group of girls; Kailyn, Jay, Lil, and then Felicity. Danni let out a nervous giggle at the last moment. The other girls stopped laughing abruptly.
“Isn’t she adorable?” Kailyn pinched Danni’s face. There were lots of “uh huhs” and “yeas” from the others.
“Pink’s a label. Like a clothes label. You know.” The freckles on Danni’s face looked like they caught on fire…
“Its ok darling, Felicity will trade tops with you. She doesn’t quiet fill hers.”
“Is that ok with Felicity.” Danni questioned.
“Sure it is. Right Fil.”
“Yea sure.” Felicity forced a smile that didn’t make it all the way to her eyes which still remained cold.

The peeling gold letters on a dirty brick wall read, “Franklin High home of the dragon”. Penné smoked eyes read over the screen. She took a deep breathe feeling her brother’s eyes on her.
“You scared?” Karius asked.
“Nope.”
“Sure?”
“Yea.“
“Good now get out.” Karius opened up the door and gave Penné a hard push.
“Owwww.” The rainbow landed on her butt.
“It’s not cool to be seen with your little sister.” with that he speeded off down the street.
