Xindaris went to the main room and posted something on the RP board. It said: Quote: Her Boyfriend’s a Werewolf!!! (And her best friend's a vampire!) Introduction: She posted in her newly aquired blog, only viewable by friends and family. It said: Quote: Lately I’ve started noticing my boyfriend is just a bit odd. It’s okay, I still love him anyway! <3 But- what’s he doing that’s odd, you ask? Well, for some reason he’s really grouchy on one random day of every month, and then on another day- just as random- he says he’s not allowed to see me at all, even though he seems to be in a pretty good mood… Oh! You may not even know who my boyfriend is! His name is Erik Sance, he’s got brown hair and eyes and he’s really smart. He’s not exactly a hunk but good looking anyway, and really friendly. He’s also really trusting and trustworthy, not even once has he neglected to keep his word! But for some reason my VVBF doesn’t like him. I don’t know what’s with her, really. Oh- about her- she’s one of those emo-goth weirdos who likes to pretend she’s a vampire, it’s okay though I’ve known her since we were kids and we get along really well! Well, that’s all for my first blog journal! Next entry’s tomorrow night! -Yeah, that' the basic premise. This girl has no idea whatsoever that her boyfriend is a werewolf, and her best friend actually is a vampire. And whenever someone tries to tell her that, some random coincidence intercedes and prevents it. More about the world: This world is an alternate Earth in modern-day time. Everyone knows that there are vampires and werewolves, but it’s very hard for a human to tell them from just other humans, especially since some like to confuse the issue by pretending they’re vampires or werewolves just to look ‘cool’, and vampires and werewolves who like to look like normal humans all the time. The vampires and werewolves have hated each other for longer than the history of this alternate earth reaches, and the humans have always been caught in the middle of their wars. Then the humans invented weapons that could genocide vampires and werewolves, and used them to coerce both races into a treaty. The treaty states that neither race may bite and ‘infect’ a human without express written consent. It also says that they aren’t allowed to fight each other, but they still do of course, just more hidden. Contrary to human superstition, werewolves are capable of changing form up to halfway at any time [except for new moons and lunar eclipses] in addition to changing form fully on a full moon (This 'halfway form' has different parts of a werewolf depending on the person). Also against superstition, vampires can’t turn fully into bats, but they can grow bat-like wings and claws or make their teeth appear normal and live in the sun-- although they are burned very easily. Also, there is no way to ‘cure’ Lycanthropy or Vampirism: Even though several humans believe the superstitions of a werewolf eating the heart of the one who changed him or a vampire drinking the blood, these are false assumptions.

He then went away, and came back again soon with yet another sheet. He posted it directly below the other one. He's often scorned by other werewolves because he makes no distinction between vampires and humans other than that which is necessary for medical helping, as well as because he has taken up a profession that makes it unlikely for him to help other werewolves out. Personality:Insane; emotionally unstable. Knows a lot more than one would expect to be possible. Xindaris Name:Isaaru Age:Looks about 29 or so Gender:Female Race:"Prophet" Importance:Unknown Appearance:She wears ordinary clothes, but they are white, and prefers a form much like a werewolf for a good reason, with the feet and legs partially changed, fur all over her skin though not thick, the long tail and the ears and teeth. She has red eyes that seemed to glow through all of the white. Personality:Cold, hard speech and a tendency to change the subject or end the conversation abruptly when she feels that the subject has been covered adequately. "Ah, okay, ignore the response PM, and no, they can drink blood and do thirst for it but they don't have to- they can eat normal human food- and it isn't necessarily human blood that they drink either, they're just not allowed by law to drink human blood because that would infect the human." says Xindaris.

((Okay it's time to start the RP since we have all of the necessary parts filled, except Warren who will be run as 'my' NPC for now. I'm going to start the RP off with a sorta long IC intro to help get used to the world, this intro is the night of a full moon, and then the RP actually starts the day right after.))
Another full moon, and another commonplace transformation. These days they seemed to be the only time he could be what he was rather than who he was...
Erik stalked off to the usual spot, the dark alley he and his best friend had always used for a meeting place on full moons.
The conversation went on for a few hours, the way it usually did; and then they just sat on top of the seemingly pointless high wall that separated this alley from another and looked around them for awhile, much of the time simply staring at the moon. Finally, Warren asked the question he'd asked several times before: "So have you told her yet?"
"No, I haven't..." Warren looked at him a bit disdainfully. He tried to explain the way it was. "I just haven't managed to get it out. Every time I work up the nerve to go and talk to her, something interrupts me and I have to start all over again."
"Man, are you sure that friend of hers is a vampire? Surely she would tell her."
"Yes, I know. I'm not really sure why she hasn't. She certainly knows."
"Well, how can you be so sure?"
"Because, when I look in her eyes, I can see the hatred in them." He jumped down the twelve feet to the ground.
"You almost sound like you're sorry for it," said Warren disappointedly, jumping beside him. "Hey, y'know, they started it."
"Maybe they did. Maybe we did," said Erik, "what does it matter? That was so long ago no history book can cover it."
Keeping an even pace, they started to walk toward the exit of the alley.
Erik paused, so so did Warren. "Did you ever think, what it might be like to be one of them? What it feels like on the other side?"
Warren gave him a long searching look. "Sometimes," he said finally, "but I usually try to kick myself afterwards.
Back on subject though, when are you going to tell her?" he said, starting to walk again.
Erik thought for a moment as they walked. "Tomorrow," he said finally, as they came to the intersection where they had to part ways, "I'll tell her tomorrow."
"You'd better," said Warren, pointing, "unless you want me to come up and bite her next month."
"Don't do that!!!" said Erik, outraged, "that's against the law, you'd get yourself arrested!"
"Exactly," said Warren, half-grinning and pointing a claw at him. "So you would have that on your conscience, eh?"
After a pause, he said, "Well, it's almost moonset. We'd better get home or be caught out here naked when the sun rises."
"Ah, right," said Erik, as each started his own way. He was used to that sort of blunt speech, most werewolves used it. Not him, though. He had to look human, at least until he could tell her...

Erik had to run to school and got there a bit late, so he was panting by the time he got to his locker, beside Amanda's of course. He half-frowned inside: his panting was going faster than it should be, really. He quickly got out his books.

Saro grabbed her things from her locker and went to her first class, which she unfortunatly shared with Erik. She would tell her to leave Amanda alone, but unfortunatly she liked him.

He half-ran and managed to get there on time nonetheless.
It was strange, for some reason he'd always felt disabled, this year plus since they'd met and he'd started pretending to be 'human'. He was perfectly normal in his human form, wasn't he? Or was there a constant dependency that was built from having used his halfway form before? And furthermore... why did he have these kinds of thoughts whenever his teacher was trying to give an important lecture!?
She asked him a question and he couldn't quite answer it, since he hadn't been listening. So of course he was chastised for it and told the next time he was caught not listening he'd have to stand up through class.
