 It is a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L V8 4X4. It rides smooth and has no mechnical problems I could find. I took for a half hour test drive on and off road. It has to have a new windshield before it will pass inspection. So what do you all think?

5.9Ls are horrid on gas. But you have to expect that, right?
Looks pretty sound, no rust adn dents I assume?

Well I'm a dodge guy, so I would have to give it a thumbs up. But keep in mind, follow your instincts. If something feels funny, it prooly isn't a good idea to buy it.

Maelthra Reloaded 5.9Ls are horrid on gas. But you have to expect that, right? Looks pretty sound, no rust adn dents I assume? It has no dents but the paint chipped behind the back doors and has surface rust. It just needs to be sanded and painted or primered white. It is barely noticeable.

Ok. Is it automatic? If so, check the transmission out if the truck has been used/abused well, I know of a '00 durango that had a pooched transmission already. Also, check the fluid levels in the diff and transfer case to make sure that they have been maintained and have not leaked out.

The guy that has the truck said he had it rebuilt to beef it up alittle by upgrading the internals. The truck is setup to tow, so I am guess that is what it was used for. I had someone go look at yesterday to see if it was good. I have yet to talk to them.

doesn't look like a bad ride. New enough to not have many drivetrain problems yet, which is good.

if it was used for towing then it makes sense that the tranny had to be rebuilt
how many km or miles on the truck?
and ya generally the bigger trucks are pretty decent, especially the 4x4's since their built alot tougher. itd be nice to know what he towed with it, making sure he wasnt putting too much load on the engine and whatnot.
nice truck with alot of potential, hope to see more pictures and stuff if you do pick it up

I bought it awhile back and already messed up the front end. It sucks bad. I am getting a ranch hand front bumper replacement. I will try to rememberto get a pic up. I am on vaction right now.

The front replacement is 1200 but I have to get a new driverside headlight and grill. It is going to cost 2000 to put it back together.

Traffic stopped all of a sudden and I creamed the bed of a truck. I fell stupid but accidents happen.
