I absoultely HATE drawing hands, I usually do something to distract from them, but does anyone have any advice one how to draw them better?

Alright..this is a bit easier to draw them...but your know the main part before your fingerz..the actaul palm of your hand and shiz..yeah..sketch that as a box and draw stick figured joints for the fingerz and then then about where the flesh will go...
Reference material is alwayz good too! 3nodding

Indeed, a reference can help a LOT. Since we see our own hands so much we sort of take them for granted, so many people have a hard time drawing them because they are so much more complicated then whe'd expect.
I suggest for good practice to draw hands using a skeleton for reference, to grasp the way the joints work and the proportions better. 3nodding
I also suggest drawing large, I get the sense that you generally draw things kind of small, which in itself can make it much more difficult to make hands look right.

Me dad says trace them until you get it down. Thats how he learned.

oh,i'd do that all the time cuz the way i did them looked like punny neddles....i just drew in a new style that went well with the hands while i practiced drawing them and that's how i got them down.
