Ever had something really weird or interesting happen at a cast party? Ever had a cast party that was just really awesome for one reason or another?
I'll start off. After one play, my then-boyfriend came backstage with me and I showed him these pink fuzzy slippers I wore backstage, since the whole show was done barefoot. He put them on and wore them to the cast party! Everyone commented on them, and I thought it was really cute.
((Yes, he did eventually admit he was gay))
I'll probably think of more later on.

Oh...wow. My first Denny's cast party was fun...except it ended with my dad punching a hole through the wall he was so pissed. sweatdrop
The one after Little Shop was fun because we had it at our director's house. There was sing-alongs and Rodger re-arranged nicola's clothes...good times.

Yeah, at a cast party resently, everyone ended up with no shirts drunk off their asses and one girl brought her girlfirned and they drank beers from eachothers boobs (they had stuck the beers in between their boobs and walked around like that) and a lot of the cast member had entire bottles of whine duck taped to their hands so they were forced to finish the drinks. it was so much fun!

We had just closed Lucky Stiff, and we were all at Ihop and there's a song in the musical that starts off "I have a toast to make, it's the first one I've ever made." My director came in, and said "I have a toast to make" and we all immediatly grab the different containers of syrup because we hadn't gotten our drinks yet and all break into the song that follows that line. We then proceeded to remix the whole musical into a rap.
"Mr. Witherspoon, got WHAT? *wickywicky*"

Haha. The only cast party I've been to was for the freshman play. Not too interesting, but fun. I spent essentially the whole time playing some pretty intense foosball with a techie. But, ah, I do remember gummie worms being stuck up a couple of peoples noses.
Ahahah. Freshman cast parties...

We were having our cast party for the 10 minute play festival we'd just finished, and we were singing and dancing, right? Most of the songs were from musicals. Including RENT. Now, my family had never seen RENT, though I'd watched bits and pieces on Youtube. So, we're singing, right? And right at "To leather, to dildos" my dad walks in to tell me it's time to go even though he was supposed to stay in the car and wait for me... >_> Worst part? : I'm 13, and he was like o_0 WTF is my daughter SINGING?!

Well at my last cast party, some little bimbo passed out drunk. Now, in general I think that sort of behavior is dumb, especially when the people doing it are in high school, but what she did was even dumber because this was a chaperoned and school-related event. The director was there, the vocal director was there, the music director, the choreographer, even the costume designer were all there, along with people's parents, including one girl's dad who's a cop. Really, how stupid can you be?
