Care for Magical Creatures Located in the Castle Grounds
Taught by Professor Shinwa Sae Walking upon the muddy ground, you head for your first ever Care for Magical Creatures class.
Following a sinous trail leading from the overhanging bridge, you gaze up as a large building comes into view.
Made from the same stones as the castle, it seems to consist of a left and right atrium.
At the front, you find a small stone staircase leading up to a pair of oaken doors.
The lion knockers carved from black brass seem to stare at you through their ruby red eyes.
Suddenly, a ghostly scream escapes from somewhere within the building, followed by a multitude of birds shrieking.
You were told this class would be easy, but second thoughts about your decision keep floating inside your head...

Hello and Welcome to your Care for Magical Creatures Class ! " I am your Professor, Shinwa.
Please call by my first name, Professor Sae doesn't sound so good does it?
Care for Magical Creatures is a class dedicated to the knowledge of the magical creatures that roam our mystical world!
We will learn about how to take care of the, gain from them, and most of all, about them!
How have they escaped the eyes of the curious muggles?
How have they thrived over the years from wizard-hunting?
If you are interested in fantastic, mythical and rare beasts, then this class is meant for you!
If not, and would rather read about them in a silly book, or just view them from afar..
Then I suggest you get out of my sight now before I unleash an uncanny visitor to get rid of you... " Front yard
Home to low classified beasts such as the Gnomes, clusters of Horklumps, small colonies of Fairies, undergrowth Folbberworms, a number of Diricawls and Mooncalf burrows. The small pond to the right contains a low number of Grindylows. ( Though I've been wanting to import a Remora... )
Left Atrium
Also known as the Aviary. It is a special place where I keep rare and magical birds. In fact, the room was made so it seems small on the outside, but bigger on the inside! The many species of birds that reside within the dome have all been been caught legally. Imported directly from the finest of emporiums, each bird has a special place within the 100-acre area that resides within the atrium. Every inch of the dome has been layered with vegetation, such that it's a forest itself! Entirely closed off on all sides, the room is surrounded by powerful magic: so only the Care for Magical Creatures teacher and the Headmaster have access to enter.
Right Atrium
A sunlit room that contains blackboards, the Professor's desk, student's desks, and shelves. One shelf off to the corner is filled with different colored, yet fat volumes on magizoology. Looking across, you see another shelf that seems to be abundant in jars of odd liquids and solids. Large, curtainless, glass windows allow sunlight fill the room with a golden radiance. Looking up, overlooking the entire classroom, you see what looks like the hanging bones of a large bird - with paticularly large teeth.
Stables
Rows of stalls made of wood line the back of the building. Inside here is where the large animals are kept. In the air, the baying, neighing, and oddly grunting sounds of the animals are too loud to go unnoticed. You can't see what's inside the dark stalls, but if you would just come closer...

A special place where you can hear your Professor rant...
And where your Professorcan write random rules in your face without hesitation...
F.A.Q.s can also be found here too... Rules Be nice to fellow peers Respect your Professors Follow the Tos Keep it "G" No annoying the animals
Rantings Turn in your homework on time! There is nothing more I hate than tracking students down just to get their overdue homework. I'll deduct points if I must, consult with your HoH or the Headmaster or worse... Don't join unless you mean it! Don't just say, "Ooo! Care for Magical Creatures, I'll join!" Then not show up after that. If you need to ask a question... Leave a note on my desk, or post it in this classroom thread with the [[ ]] symbols. If it is an in-game question, then ask away with no hesitation while RPing.
F.A.Q.s Good. I suspect y'all know what y'all are doing and don't need to bother me with questions.

The current lesson will be posted here, along with previous other lessons Lesson IV - ???
???
???
Lesson III - Crup Beast Study - Excerpt from 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'
"The Crup originated in the southeast of England. It closely
resembles a Jack Russel terrier, except for the forked tail. The
Crup is almost certainly a wizard-created dog, as it is intensely
loyal to wizards and ferocious towards muggles. It is a great
scavenger, eating anything from gonmes to old tyres. Crup
licences may be obtained from the Department for the
Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures on completion of
a simple test to prove that the applicant wizard is capable of
controlling the Crup in Muggle-inhabited areas. Crup owners
are legally obliged to remove the Crup's tail with a painless
Severing Charm while the Crup is six to eight weeks old, less
muggles notice it."
Lesson II - Snidgets
Snidgets and their impact on the all-popular game Quidditch
According to Quidditch Through The Ages, snidget-hunting has been widely popular
since the early 1100's. The snidget, whose recognizable features include its minuscule
size and quick speed, has caused the vast wizard world to be obsessed with its hunting.
Although many witches and wizards use the traditional wand, many revert to antique ways
such as nets and bare hands. Yet the genocide of these kind birds are considered sport,
and the Wizard's Council (at the time) had little agaisnt the issue. In 1269, Mr. Bragge
brought a snidget to a quidditch match and announced that the finder of the snidget
during the course of the game would be awarded 150 galleons. Fortunately, a kind-hearted
witch released the Snidget of its dire fate (Madam Rabnott was fined 10 galleons of the
delinquency.) Yet her act of kindness was a waste (as was her house). Since that day, Snidgets
have appeared in Quidditch matches all over the world. Unfortunately, the killings of these birds
during Quidditch matches have caused a drastic decrease in their population. Luckily, Snidgets
became a protected species through the law. Hence forth, the Golden Snitch was used in its place.
Lesson I - Introduction
What is a beast?
According to Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, the definition of a being is:
...any creature that has sufficient intelligence to understand the laws of the magical community and to bear part of the responsibility in shaping those laws.
Anything that does not fit this statement are classified as 'beasts'. Yet not all 'beings'
have chosen to become 'beasts'. Some of these creatures are merpeople, and centaurs.
They have chosen to be categorized as beasts as they refused to be in the same
high-class "being" status as hags and vampires. On the other hand, some creatures
such as the acromantulas and manticores, (though capable of intelligent speech),
they will try to devour any witch or wizard that comes unto their path. Their brutal
natures have placed them under the "beast" category. This is similar with the sphinx.
A lion-like creature who speaks in riddles and is vicious when given the wrong answer.

Walking towards his Care of Magical Creatures class, Alexander emergised carrying a messanger bag full of whatever he need for class. Mud squished under his feet at every step. He walked up to the large, oak doors, pushed them open and walked inside. Will I at least have a decent teacher?, he thought walking more inside the large building and sitting on the hard ground. His bag fell to his side and he waited quietly for his teacher to show herself.

Professor Shinwa ambled into her classroom. She spyed her desk near a couple bookshelves that housed many vase antiques and musty novels.
Ceiling high windows on two juxtapose walls caught the dappled effects of
the sun's warm rays. On the floor, thick volumes lay on their spines. Pages
opened to pictures of gory, and some cute, mythical creatures. Near the
windows, pillows of earthen hues are scattered atop an old persian carpet.
She loved her classroom whenever it had a warm atmoshphere, a touch of golden
radiance, and a peaceful ambience. Just like today... In her arms she held
a small editorial entitled, What's a Beast?. Scanning the area, she
found a gryffindor student patiently waiting on the wooden floor. "Hello out there!"
She called after him, hoping he could hear her above the baying of the animals.

A bit startled, Alexander turned to see a which standing a few feet from his being. He suddenly stood up and surveyed her carefully. "Hello", he said to her waiting for her to go and sit down or give him instructions of some-sort. He shifted his weight and watched her with a completely blank face.
