so everyone wants tips on how to be a better artist.
Well, at least I do. :]

Here is where all tutorials will be posted and kept for the use of guild members.

Faces and bodies are tough, but there are some some "tricks" to it.

I did a quicky face to show you the basic proportions because it's easier than just trying to explain it and because it's 7am.

First, draw the face. Perferably an elipse that is less wide than it is tall.
Don't make chins pointy.... like I did. gonk
Then lightly draw some lines of stratigery through it.
These are guidelines. One goes through the center vertically and one throught the center horizontally.

Then draw the eyes on the horizontal line. Eyes are an "eye" a part.
(So if you're drawing a head and the eyes are each an inch wide draw them an inch apart from each other. )

The nose is as wide as the space between the eyes is.
There are no good tricks with noses.. that's why everyone hates noses. xD
The ears are also along that horizontal line.
The mouth is, well, under the nose. >.<;; It's about midway between the tip of the nose and the tip of the chin.
The edges of the mouth are parallel to the pupils. (the mouth here is a little too small.)

Eyebrows are parallel to the top of the ears.
Have fun with the hair.

Shade and/or colour it.. and stuff.
Don't ask me about shading.. thinking about proper shading makes me want to kill things. Dx

Now. What does one do about those guidelines that we drew? I don't really know. I suppose you just erase them little by little and hope no one notices. gonk
