... This isn't very fair... Why should we say who's the biggest Green Day fan because of when you got into them..? Oh well. I got into them when I was seven. I'm sixteen now, so I don't know how many years that is, because, once again, I am le sucky at maths. I don't think I'm the biggest Green Day fan. Hell, I know I'm not the biggest Green Day fan. I could go on a mad rant and say "it's all about the music, man, not the fanbase, but frankly (haha) I couldn't really be bothered... sweatdrop

I first heard of Green Day when it was '97 cause of Good Riddance, my sister kept on singing it so then she got me pretty much addicted to them. Later on I heard Brain Stew and Basket Case and then yeah. I can play at least 3 songs on every album of theirs on the guitar and I own 7 Green Day albums so yeah....yeah that's pretty much it 3nodding

My mom took me to a show of theirs when I was 2, in 1991. It was one of those shows that was free to get in in one of those cheap clubs. Then my mom took me to Woodstock '94 where I actually met them. Kinda...

i started to be aware of green day when i was 9 or 8 or something. i just know i used to hear their songs on the radio and wonder who they where. or course, i didn't become aware of what the words meant until later.... the music is what appealed to my brain before, naturally. but now that's changed, of course. 3nodding but frankly.... i know i'm not the biggest green day fan. and i don't mind that. i like them anyway. shouldn't we all be treated as equals if we all like the same music? there is always gonna be someone who has liked them longer for more years. but that doesn't mean they are far superior than anyone here.... whee ok. m!lk is done.

I've been a fan since I was in the 5th grade. One of my bro's friends burned cds and he sold them to people. The cds had different songs and one day he accidentily burned a cd before he wanted to and he gave it to my bro and I listened to it and it had Good Riddance on it and I would listen to that one all the time.

Let's see...I probably got into Green Day around 1999 or 2000. My cousin had International Superhits, so I listened to it to realize that I had heard a lot of the songs before without even knowing it. So I ended up getting the album that Christmas. That's the only one I had for a while, until I joined some message boards and found out about AI. I got that a few days after it came out. 2004 was the year I really got into Green Day. I stocked up on the older albums (I have everything but Kerplunk and Shenanigans) and started web-stalking and such. So now I've seen them twice in concert and I am probably one of the biggest fans I know.
