Dang! I missed this up here on top. Was lazy and would just check in on the date last posted in the Genral Chat. We could open a vote in Barton OCC, Where the type of RP that gets the most votes in a certain time frame is the one we start. Gives us ideas and attention from potential RP-ers.

I'm good with reusing some and starting other new ones, we just need to pick what we want to go with. Here's a couple I came up with to start.

Modern with magic: The supernatural has always been around it's just been hiding. Werewolves, vampires, witches, fairies, and all the other 'different' creatures had been forced into the shadowy verges of society and remote places of the world after the dark ages. Humans had started to out numbered them badly and hunt them too efficiantly so they fled and let the memory of them fade into myth. As science advances and less and less of the world remains inaccessable, they have decided they can't hide any more and are trying to gain acceptance. People who thought they were nothing but old stories are freaked out that they are back and trying to fit in. The Others, as they are called, have to work hard to overcome fear and fit in with the main stream. Everyone's a character either human or otherworldly, living in one of the first intergrated neighborhoods.

Historic with magic: King Richard the Lionheart has been taken prisoner and he brother Prince John is holding the throne. Robin Hood and his bandits are in the forest resisting the high taxes and poor conditions that prevail under Johns rule. It's rumored that the disliked regent is trying to collect a set of ancient artifacts that were scattered when the Roman empire pulled out to use in a spell that will make it impossible to remove him from ruling. A elderly crusader has gathered together the few people he felt he could trust (The characters) and given them a map to one of the relics. When they find it, it should bear a clue to where the next one is.

:3 I like the first idea as well. People could jump in at any time, too, saying that they just moved in.

I'd definitely give the second idea a try as well.

Should we just toss the re-started roleplays away and start new, or keep them around and see if we can get others to join?

Might as well start fresh, we've kind of done all we can with the old ones for the moment. We can always go back and re-create them if we get nostalgic for them later on.

If you make a new one, post it so we can drop in and nudge it occasionally.

We don't seem to have a directed plan for any forward movement... sad
