Well, I just went to my first House club last night!! It was cool... a small little venue local in town. Illvybe showed me the ropes on the house steps. I mean, I can dance but I just had never seen house dancing before so I had no clue what to expect. Had lots of fun. I WILL be doing that again.

I always find myself dancing a little funk style to house myself, probably because its an offshoot of bad disco, and disco is a offshoot of funk (though.. funk pwns disco) ... meh anyway... i think i have it written down maybe at a later date I'll post it again. 3nodding

Ok my first party was called Cloud 3. It was in the summer of 2000.
Some hardcore, drum and bass, ragga jungle, gabber....
Nice party, almost all of the people there were anglophones. Being French, I found that pretty fun since I could come up and say stupid stuff in french and nobody understood crap. It was pretty darn funny. The people there were really friendly, especially that girl who just took my hand and litterally dragged me to the dancefloor violently and said: "NOW DANCE FRENCH BOY!" with the most giant smile ever. hehehe it was pretty fun.

Well....I've never been to a 'rave' or even a club, sadly. But, I live in Vermont, also. So, finding people who listen to the same music as I do is hard ot come by. Very hard. The internet is where I find other people with like interests/music tastes.
So no, no parties for me, yet. The closest to that would be me and like three other people...and we only listened to a few EBM songs. It wasn't a big thing. sad

ok so it was when i lived in arizona huge house party out in scotts dale in this huge house some local d&b guy came and it was awsome lots of lights and stuff then at around 12 it got crazy and whent straight to rave hardcore lights glowsticks and wacked out people every where its was mad as hell the pool even had flashing lights no joke it was rad

I'm rather lucky because my first party was in Austin, Tx at the Austin Music Hall. and the head liners were, Carl Cox, DJ Dan, Raymond Roker, and D:Fuse.
it was nice a huge white sheet blocked the djs from being seen by the crowed untill carl cox came on. and I kid you not a huge say about 10ft tall robot with carl cox's head on top of it stood behind carl cox while he played.

My first party was called "Two Tribes"
It was called "Two Tribes" because it was a bringing together of the clubbers and ravers... There were four rooms IIRC... from what I remember trance, house, and jungle were inside, and ambient/downtempo was outside on the back deck.
It was an awesome night, the highlight was getting a massage from my hottie dealer Abdul and my best friend Vicki at the same time... *faints*

Odd music for odd people 2003. Gabber and Noise orentated event with a bit of Electro as well for some reason. It was a great party with this hueg soundsystem that was the size of 3 of me. *I'm like... 5'7 or so.* We only had around 300 People there that night... But damn! Best party I've been to ever. And it WAS my first party, so It has two distentions.
