Klonoa sat under the shade of an oak tree, his tail lazily swinging about. He looked up towards the slightly cloudy sky and sniffed.
"There's going to be a thunderstorm tonight." He predicted.
"How can you be so sure?" Klonoa's fairy familiar, Nadia, asked.
"Because it's my element, silly!" Klonoa joked.
Nadia nodded and sat on top of Klonoa's head, her head resting on top of her hands.

Rosette walked past at that moment, she had been wandering through the forest. "Right you are Klonoa." She said happily, she loved thunderstorms. "I can feel it, its exiting, I love them, it feels so... calming." She sighed, looking up at the sky. "And It'll be here soon."

Klonoa jolted upright when he heard Rosette's voice.
"Rosette? I haven't seen you in a good long while! But yes, my favorite part is getting zapped. It's my way of charging up!" he said with a chuckle.
"Then you look like a giant puffball. Oh, I forgot you already are." Nadia said.
Klonoa laughed, and patted Nadia.
"This is my friend Nadia, i found her egg a while ago." he explained.
"Nice to meet ya." Nadia said with a bow.

"Oh yes, it is a nice feeling." She said with a nod. "Though most other Tocou's stay away from it, I suppose its not a good thing to be zapped if you're not our element." She said thoughtfully. She turned her head slightly so she was facing Nadia, "Hello, its nice to meet you too." She said, bowing her head in return.
"So how have you been Klonoa? Been getting along alright have you?"

"I've been good, besides the fact that Mirou got bitten by a mouse and now her nose is the size of her head!" Klonoa said, breaking out into laughter.
Nadia couldn't help but chuckle, then broke out laughing as well.
"She's always got her nose in trouble!" Nadia said.

Rosette chuckled, "Now how did that happen? Maybe mice are too much for her and her nose to handle?" She said playfully. "Nice to hear that you're doing well though, I've been looking for you." She said with a smile.

Klonoa raised an eyebrow (if Toucous even have eyebrows!) in surprise.
"I guess Mirou was trying to eat it or something, or she might be allergic. Now, why would such a beautiful Tocou like yourself be looking for the likes of me?" he asked with a charming smile.
Nadia giggled slightly, but put her hand over her mouth.

She blushed, and through her white fur, it was quite noticable. "Oh, well I just, you know... Wanted to see you again." She said, she had honestly always found Klonoa quite attractive. "And thank you, its nice to be told that I'm beautiful. Nobody has ever said that to me before." She said, blushing some more.
She looked at Nadia, not saying anything, she obviously wasn't able to control her laughter very much, though she didn't mind. It would have come out eventually.

"Really? I'm surprised! It doesn't take much more than a glance to notice that you're most likely the prettiest Tocou I've ever met! " Klonoa said, standing up, "I want to show you something, follow me."
Klonoa began to walk towards a large hill, hoping Rosette would follow him.

She giggled some more and looked at the ground in an emberrassed way. "Thank you, you're quite handsome yourself." She said softly.
Her ears perked up, show her something? "Alright." She said pleasantly, following him to wherever she was going to take him and wondering what and where it was.

"Why thank you, Miss Rosette!" He thanked, smiling.
Klonoa began padding up the hill. It wasn't too steep, but still slightly steep nonetheless. A couple flowers were growing on the side he was climbing, so he picked one and placed it behind Rosette's ear. He smiled and continued walking up the hill and reaching the top as a couple storm clouds covered the sun.
"This is the best place to be during a thunder storm, if your element is storm." Klonoa explained, sitting once he was on top of the hill.

She laughed in a friendly sort of way. "No need to call me Miss, Klonoa, but if you want to you're welcome to." She said happily as he placed the flower behind her ear.
"Ah, this does seem like a very good place." She said with a nod as the storm clouds grew larger. "I can feel the lightning already." She said happily, going and sitting next to Klonoa.

Klonoa smiled as a storm cloud stopped directly above himself adn Rosette. He closed his eyes calmly as a long bolt of lightning came striking down from the grey cloud. Klonoa didn't even flinch when it struck him, he just sighed happily. Then his puffed up from static, making him look like a giant ball of fluff. Nadia rolled around laughing uncontrolably.

Rosette giggled, she had never done this with someone else before and she saw how funny it made one look. She looked up at the cloud, waiting for a bolt of ligtning for herself.
And one came, large and jagged, and whats more, it was forked, it struck the both of them, and as it hit Rosette, she sighed happily as the energy coarsed through her veins, and her fur poofed out too, and she laughed when thinking of how rediculous she must look too.
