Like Naruto and Inuyasha, Mär is a shounen manga from Kana.
But I was asking myself if Mär would be a great succes just like Inuyasha and Naruto.
I think it will become a great succes, since I am a great fan of fairytales.

Story:Ginta Toramizu,a 14-year boy that is no good at sports neither studies,wear glasses and is short too,has a large fantasy.
He always dreams about a world where fairytales are real.
One day his dreams come true and he gets in a world called Mär Heaven.
In fact, somebody has used mystic powers to call him, in order to defeat an evil organisation that wants to destroy Mär Heaven.
It is a story where you regconise(sp?) a lot of characters of fairytales(Snow white,Rapunzel,...)in a world where they use their power in order to protect their world...or to destroy it.

Ive read th first four volumes. It was good, but i've read better. I've also seen the show on toonami jetstream. Im a bit questioned at Ginta's VA. I think his voice should be higher.

Anime_Ninja Ive read th first four volumes. It was good, but i've read better. I've also seen the show on toonami jetstream. Im a bit questioned at Ginta's VA. I think his voice should be higher. His voice looks to much on that of Naruto.

I sure hope not... I remember the beauty of thinking I was the only one who knew the series (this was 4 years ago). I'd like it to be as popular as Flame of Recca but... if it grows to be like Inuyasha and Naruto where fangirls sprout trash everywhere about it, then... I'd probably go insane and kill someone. No kidding.

I'm actually waiting for there to be more volumes of the manga...
I watched the anime but I really didn't like the animation of the 3d fighting scenes....gross.. stare It's like a low quality game
other than that it's quite funny...is the manga bettter?

I watched the anime but I really didn't like the animation of the 3d fighting scenes....gross.. stare It's like a low quality game other than that it's quite funny...is the manga bettter? When the anime came out, I was really hyped up because I really liked MAR but I was disappointed... especially with the fight scenes because, you're right, the 3D thing is just stupid... bbbbuuuuuuttttt I love the manga biggrin

Well, Flame of Recca and MAR are both about tournaments... but you know, I kinda like both. They're equally as good and special in their own ways.
My avi's a guy. He's cosplaying as Akito from Air Gear. Why? Because I feel like it =P
