They used to make such great music... Now they make screamo. So do you still like AFI? or only their older stuff? or only newer stuff?

If you call them Screamo. Lol. Mohinder is more screamo in my opinion. None the less, there older stuff was much better. Or at least when they were on Nitro

I like new and old AFI, but Decemberunderground was a such a let down. It's alright, but nothing great. Their older stuff is better in my opinion.

I like their older stuff, i own and enjoy sing the sorrow, haven't heard anything from the new cd excepting miss murder which was extremely unimpressive (though I've heard its otherwise kinda, slower paced and ambient) so i refuse to pass judgment just yet.
what I will judge however is how poorly they preformed at the calgary leg of the warped tour.... the rest of the band was fine but havok just.... couldn't get it up it seemed. rolleyes
this is contradictory to the show they apparently played in edmonton though, which supposedly was amazing, so hey, maybe they just didn't give a ******** about their warped tour performance in which case ******** them. dramallama

evilbrainbabies My god I know, I heard there performance froma freind and it was god awful. the rest of the band was alright but the singing was just... not there he couldn't get anything behind his voice it was so throaty it hurt me sad and I'm not even a musician or singer but i can still tell how little effort he was either putting in or how poorly he knew how to sing. I'm fairly sure it was effort on his part rolleyes

Hmm from what i heard, I twas terrible over all. Though that is nothing compared to when I saw Dropkick Murphys live. It was like... noise and it sounded like he was just yelling into the mic with without even really singing the lyrics

One of my camp counselors (who oddly is kinda like me but older XD) recommends their old stuff to me. I'm actually half interested but I've seen their new music video and honestly it kinda scares me kinda makes me wonder what their old stuff sounded like. Their old stuff is probably kick a**....

The only AFI I liked was a their self-titled EP. Personally, if I only like a single EP from a band, I don't consider them all that great.
