Introduction
This is a perfect guild in which to place this roleplay since not many people come on, but just enough do. In other words, only seven people can join this roleplay, indicating the 7 deadly sins. If it actually does get the full 7, I MIGHT add more slots for normal people or something...
Setting
All seven people of this roleplay live in the same city of Toulon, France, for it is the natural birthplace of sin uncounted years ago. Toulon is just like any other city you’ve been to or seen pictures off. Shopping malls, theme parks, and even picnicking parks reside in this legendary city.
Story
Pride, Envy, Greed, Lust, Sloth, Gluttony, and Wrath. These are the seven deadly sins of this world. What makes them so deadly, you ask? Well, the simple fact that these are the only sins that humans cannot escape and leads people further away from God. If a human was to erase one of these sins from their thoughts and actions, they would no longer be human, but perfect as God. That is prideful in itself; a sin.
This roleplay revolves around seven ordinary people cursed as the seven deadly sins, each with their own sin. Somewhere along the road you end up in the town of Toulon, France... the birthing place of the seven sins uncounted years ago. There, a sin will ask you to be it's flesh and blood or rather to be 'partners' in the same body. Why you out of all people, you think. It's simply because you have already proven yourself to that particular sin. Somewhere along the road of your life, you have committed this sin to the point of the sin actually noticing you enough to request your assistance.
What sin chose you? Will you be open to people about it... or will you keep it a secret because you don't want bad attention? Will they even believe such witchcraft ways or think you're completely crazy?
All you know is there are six more of your sinful brothers and sisters around in the same city of Toulon. Your sin calls to them like a magnet without a partner. Why? What will happen when you all assemble? All you can do is follow your sin's orders...

- PG-15 roleplay. These are the seven deadly sins we're talking about here...
- Be literate... please! gonk
- When talking OOC, use brakets.
- PM all profiles to me.
- The sins do not have special abilities or powers. We are all human... just a little possessed.
- And no, right now you may not be more then one sin. I may allow this later if we don't get more people.
New - When any of the sins make contact, they see their true identity and possess enough power to take control of our character's body.

Background: Natume had been born in a small town in France as her parents moved years ago from Japan. Pride itself had never played a big role in her family. Humble and modest was the way she had been taught, but something didn't quite fit. To Natsume, her parents were too humble for their own good... to the point of trusting and being taken advantage of by most of the town they grew up in. It was too much seeing her parents wither away in the darkness of their modest ways and so when Natsume turned 18, she left for the city of Toulon, where at some point the sin of Pride had called out to her feeling her arrogance. She accepted this new pride into her life as she felt bitter at her family and saw it as a form of revenge. But as she grew older, she had come to realize the density of what she had done by accepting the sin. She now was a sin.
Natsume has been living with the sin of Pride within her for five years now since the age of 18. She has grown and become used to the sin as well as come to understand it more. She tries to keep it a secret from most, for if anyone were to find out, her reputation would suffer greatly. Her reputation in itself is a since of pride... it is the last thing she wants to have grow bitter.
Relations: Has a mother and father in a different town she no longer speaks to. Has a younger sister in the same town she rarely speaks to.
Career/Job: Manager of a popular woman's clothing store in the city of Toulon.
Other: Lives in a small house of her own, alone.

Sin: Gluttony
Appearance: 5'5". ~150 lbs. Curvaceous with a small layer of fat but in all the right places so as to only emphasise and add a certain richness to her figure. Blonde haired, blue eyes, likes to wear brand names and is almost always dressed to kill.
Background: In some ways, you could say Chie was bred to gluttony. The only child of a wealthy family, she was taught "waste not, want not" from an early age. In other words, she simply can't say no to anything.
Whatever is offered to her, even if she doesn't think she can use it at that time, she'll take it and save it for later. Even if she's full, if she's offered some more food, she will eat it. This carries over into all manner of things including drinking, smoking, and drugs.
Chie is fast on the road to a life of destruction; it's very clear. Perhaps part of her senses this. She does what she can to stay as healthy as she can manage. She works out everyday (since she often eats a lot, she has to keep her weight down somehow) and is surprisingly slim considering the amount of food she normally ingests. Her alcohol tolerance is notably high as well which reduces the amount of hangovers. She figures her family is wealthy enough that if she needs a new liver or lungs or whatever, it won't be a problem getting another or getting treatments.
Relations: Father and mother who dote on her.
Chie isn't exactly sure when Gluttony came to reside in her but she thinks it may have been on her 21st birthday when she staged a very large party and got roaring drunk (shockingly difficult, yet she managed somehow). All she noticed was a slight increase in her desire for the things she already enjoyed so much. Upon discovering that the sin was within her, she quickly adapted and both are enjoying the wild life as we speak. Chie often finds herself wondering if there would be any change at all, should Gluttony leave her. She somehow doubts it but doesn't care to find out.
Career/Job: Professional slacker. Her parents take care of everything for her.
Other: Stays with her parents, owners of one of the largest Japanese candy exporting companies in the world (her first name is a vague nod to the cause of her parent's success and fortune). Has tons of friends, all of whom share in the same destructive lifestyle she has. Parents turn a blind eye to everything she does. She's perfect in their eyes.

Background: Damien has a scarred past which he refuses to speak of. Nearly all of his childhood memories are a mystery even to himself. But those he does remember will haunt him for the rest of his life. At age five Damien’s mother was raped and killed before his eyes by a “client” of hers. His closer family knew his mother was a prostitute and refused to soil their families with his presence. So he was tossed from house to house (and courtroom to courtroom) until he turned sixteen and simply disappeared. He traveled to Toulon. He spent his nights on the streets among the harlots and sleazebags. He was an innocent thrown into a hell full of pleasures and pains. The city intoxicated the jaded young man. As he grew so did his longing for pleasure. He became a womanizer. He was smooth as silk and tough as leather. He could coax any woman to his bed. Many of them awoke to find a rose on their pillow and the man that they had been convinced loved them…gone. When he turned twenty the sin of Lust approached Damien. The sin was offering to Damien a chance to increase his illustrious presence and fulfill his every desire. Damien couldn’t refuse. He has since been traveling the city, moving from place to place (and woman to woman) only staying long enough to create a reputation.
Relations: None that he keeps contact with
Career/Job: None. He is a thief of wallets as well as hearts. What he cant steal he can charm his way into getting.

Appearance: 
Background: Not much is known about Roy other then he works for the US government. Quiet and confidential, there is also another side to this man, that being the sin of greed. Taught at an early age that you will get nowhere in life thinking about others, Roy quickly repositioned his thinking to that of which one who only thinks of himself. This was around age sixteen; the time at which Greed offered himself to Roy. Roy gladly accepted, seeing is as an opportunity to gain even more wealth and power, overseeing the consequence. Just a few short weeks ago, Roy decided to undertake an investigation in Toulon, France, convincing his overseers to let him proceed. Even though in his human life he had made an excuse, not even Roy himself could block out the reason of why he really wanted to go to Toulon… something was calling him there and it would only get stronger the more he fought with it. Now was the time that he find out what is was that Greed really wanted.
Relations: Lost family and friend connection long ago.
Career/Job: Works for the government. That is all that is known.

Background: Aira’s background remains a secret to everyone. She refuses to speak of her family, home, or any life she led before she hit the streets. Her family was small, consisting of her mother and an older brother. Growing up her family was poor; all the money her mother made was put into buying meals, and paying rent. What little food there was, the majority of it was given to her older brother, her mother’s obviously favorite child. Every penny her mother had to spare went to the eldest, leaving nothing for little Aira. Finally fed up with being push aside by her family she ran away from their small apartment certain she could treat herself better living on the streets. She was right.
She steals what she needs or wants, and she certainly wants quite a bit. Envy was watching her since before she ran away, Aira had been terribly jealous of her older brother. But once she hit the streets, her material lust grew. She took from those she was envious of, and laughed as her victims realized their objects were missing. She was a perfect human in Envy’s eyes, so full of jealousy and malice even being so young. That’s when their life together began.
Relations: Refuses on all occasions to mention the family she came from.
Career/Job: Pickpocket and thief
Other: Lives on the Streets, or in the Subway, where ever happens to suit her fancy.

A question regarding specifically Gluttony.
Having often seen various representations of Gluttony, I was wondering if the definition could be extended. Instead of being limited simply to food, could a person, for example, be gluttonous when it comes to power or pretty things (e.g. opulent, luxurious fabrics such as silk and satin (or even layers and layers of fabric for a simple suit/dress, diamond necklaces, getting the idea?) in addition to everything else? Think along the lines of a dragon a la Tolkien, I suppose. Hoarding and wanting far more than they could ever consume.

(Well I was concidering Lust. I dont usually play that type of character, so I thought it would be fun. Im photobucket scavenging for pictures now...but not having much luck. I think I want to be male. Since we dont have any men in this rp yet, and it suits the sin a bit more. Though if I dont find any good pics I'll try wrath, I have a few good pictures for that sin.)

I've usually heard of Lust embodied in the form of a woman so I'd probably favour Lust if you're gonna play a guy o.o.
Otherwise, Wrath would work well.
I like unconventional characterisation, can you tell? XD

Natsume strode through the clothing department, or rather known as her public dwelling. The morning had finally come and business would soon be in play as it always would. Toulon was such a crowded city... much to her benefit, of course. Natsume liked it this way. Crowds pleased her with the exception of her personal time and space.
She sat herself on a soft, black chair. Not too slouched, but not too up-right; back and forth she went. She had to think of her every move thanks to this sin she bared. Even still, the reward was worth the trouble. Natsume closed her eyes, again awaiting the crowd of customers. It was quiet... maybe she would feel the calling of another sin again as she had done the night before.
