Did anyone go to see the panel for "300" at Comic Con? Can you share any photos?
I went and had a great time listening to Gerard, David, Frank, etc. The trailer was FANTASTIC. I can't wait to see the movie. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos I can share.

They were there. Gerard even signed autographs for an hour down on the convention floor, but I was working at another panel so I couldn't go crying
At one point, Gerard and David came to the edge of the stage to watch the trailer and I was about 4 feet from him in the press pit. whee He flashed me a great smile and the peace sign.

D'Oh! I must be having a major brain melt down.
I did see Gerard on the convention floor after this autograph signing. (I forgot about this until now.) He was walking with James Callis (Battlestar Galactica) and they were surrounded by security. He was being followed by a plethora of women (gee what a surprise!) and they tried to follow him all the way out to the back hall. He and James gave the crowd the slip out the back way since attendees can't get to the secure hallways.
I wonder how he knows James....

Honestly, I don't think he was in San Diego very long. More likely, he was there just for that day. I don' t know whether he keeps an apartment or house in LA, but most of the celebrity attendees are there only for their panel, perhaps a photo call and press conference, then they go back to LA.
Some of the panelists will stay if they have panels on multiple days. I know Guillermo Del Toro was there for at least two days because he had a panel on Friday and another on Saturday. Let's face it, at Comic Con, Guillermo is in his element.
Some of the panelists for the Sci Fi Channel's shows (Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Eureka, etc) were in San Diego for multiple days because Sci Fi Channel hosts a HUGE party every year at Comic Con.
