Wow, it is great. THe rhyme was amazing, and I liked the meaning.

That reminded me of something that was said in American Gods ... I think the original quote was "One knows not the worth of war until one is dead." Why did it remind me of Herodotus? I have no bleeding idea. Probably the last two lines.
