I will be using: Calamity and Ridik
Calamity walked slowly down the path slowly peering around at the Canyon walls that kept his home hidden. Ridik was at home sleeping just like normal. "I can't blame him," said Calamity taking a deep he leaped up into the air and took flight into the sunset.
Ridik slowly paced the home waiting for Calamity to return. After a while he gave up and just started to fix himself a meal. Rena was laying in the nest sleeping most likely inside her egg. Ridik peered outside to see it was getting dark. Smiling he continuned to make humself a meal.
Calamity seeing the sunset in the distance realized how late it was. Rushing back towards the home as fast as he can he wondered if the others were allright.

Elathan snuck out away from the caverns and away from his sisters in order to go searching for Siren again. He was sad that he had to leave her but Elathan was a responsible griff. Though his brother Azhor hated egg-watching, Elathan found it peaceful.
His wings were not strong enough to fly from the caves where he lived so he walked down the mountainside to the valley. Elathan hoped his only other friend would be visiting the area.

Calamity walked up a mountain side in search of some berries. "Man when will I find some?" Calamity sighed. Walking up he saw a faint white figure in the distance. "Who's there?"

Elathan stayed to where the mountain met the valley; he was also very cautious-not eager to seek out danger and adventure as Azhor. His silver eyes took in the sights and his ears took in the sounds.
They also took in the sound of someone calling out.
Looking around, Elathan spotted a dusty colored hippogriff staring at him as if in challenge. Frowning, he hoped this person would not be a bully. His voice was as soft and the leaves rustling in the wind so even if he were to call out, Elathan doubted the other would hear him.
The stranger would just have to come to him.

Calamity walked up to him slowly. "My name is Calamity," he said bowing to the Griff that was a bit younger than himself. Looking at the griff he noticed he had to have a family because of his scent. "So you live with other Griffs?"

Elathan's eyes narrowed as the older male gave his name. He knew of Calamity, who was the mate to Kore's best friend Kiyoshi. But that did not mean he wanted to go volunteering information to him. Giving a slight bow in return, Elathan spoke raspily.

"Do you know Kore or Kyoshi? They are both good friends of mine. One is my Life long Mate though." said Calamity setting down the bag of stuff he was carrying on his back.
Ridik woke up and left the home. He knew where his father was because he heard his voice. Taking off Ridik landed behind his father. He had gotten here faster then usual. "Dad, who is here?"
"I am not sure exactly who he is...Why did you leave Rena at home?" said Calamity getting mad that Rena was left alone.
"I didn't she is in my back on my back." said Ridik smiling and taking off again to wander around.

Of course, Elathan knew both of them. But he wasn't going to say that outloud. After all, he still did not know who this griff was or what he was about... His eyes trailed the sky as another landed beside them. Though his look was different, and so where his colors, from Calamity, they treated each other like family.

"That is nice, if you are wondering I will bring no harm. One because I am not that way, and two because you are a friend of the love of my life, Kiyoshi." said Calamity smiling at the other griff. "Mind if I explore with you? By the way what is your name?"

Elathan decided to follow his instince and walk with the older male. He wrinkled his brow at Calamity when the tan griff asked for his name again. Sometimes, he hated the fact that he spoke so softly but that was how he was born.

"You have a quite tone of voice like me," said Calamity smiling. Peering aout he followed Elathan making sure to keep a good distance. Smiling at the night sky he knew this montain trail f they started to go up maybe he could visit his old home.

Elathan merely nodded at him and began off in his brisk trot again. He onced asked Aleera, Kore's teacher, when the mountains ended. She had no real answer for him and told him that all she knew was that they went on as far north and south as one could travel. Perhaps, that would be his biggest adventure with Azhor.
To see the end of the mountains.
In the meantime, he enjoyed the silence between Calamity and himself. Elathan prefered to hear what was going on rather than nonsense or chatter.

Calamity looked over the edge of the climbing path to see a decent drop. Smiling he jumped off and flew beside the ledge. He learned how to keep his wings silent when flying. Listening to the calm voice of nature he look at Elathan and smiled he knew everything was going to be allright between them two.

((Elathan is not in the mountains. He is in the valley where the land starts to rise up... There would be no ledges really. Perhaps some large rocks...small to medium brush/hedges...))

Calamity followed Elathan. Looking into the distance he smiled. Elathan had markings on his face that looked interesting but confusing. Shruging a little he kept following.
